It's obviously ridiculous to those of us paying attention, but the media spent these last 4 years telling the stupid people that would listen that the mean orange man was literally Hitler 2.0.
It didn't work, as we all know, but it gave them a plausible explanation for the normies; "People just hated Trump so much!"
This excuse can't work in a normal election.
Dems can put their toe on the scale for their guy, but they can't conceal a landslide. For all we know, that's what 2016 was.
You could not fool Americans into thinking McCain beat Obama in 2008. There was just too much enthusiasm for Barry.
