I just know when I used to purchase 1/2 a cow from a somewhat local guy his were grass fed (at least that what he told everyone?) and that beef was great. So I just always assumed grass was the top of the line and grain were the ones that went to geocery stores and fast food etc. Now that beef is expensive and I have to share my food with my kids, I have to just get the grocery store stuff or local butcher shop.
