Dumb question from a computer illiterate: why do we need computer algorithms to tally votes in the first place if not for fraud and manipulation?
I wouldn’t think an A or B choice would require a fancy algorithm, but again, I’m somewhat illiterate when it comes to algorithms. Maybe it’s just semantics, and I’m reading too much into it is all.

1984 was required curriculum in my ‘04 high school. I never really connected with Shakespeare, being an audiophile, but that book was burned into my brain.
