For right now, for this election, it is over. We have to accept this. I'm not a doomer. If you see what they are trying to do right now, we are on very precipitous ground. The best solution we have is to some how, and I don't know how, take over the Republican Party. I do not think a third party will make any real ground; this happened historically with the Whigs, the Bull Moose (I legitimately think if Trump makes a new party, it should be a new incarnation of the Bull Moose Party), and even today with the Greens and the Libertarians. We have to start strategizing and stop listening to bullshit conspiracies.

It was because of John Kelly. He was appointed on the recommendation of Republican insiders. He isolated Trump from Flynn AND Bannon. Bannon was let go only after John Kelly was appointed; Trump trusted Kelly because he was military. He did not understand (likely because he didn't have Flynn), what Kelly represented, which was worse than Swamp. Kelly was a McConnell guy.
