I fully support making resisting an unlawful arrest legal, and defending yourself from a cop (who is both violating your constitutional rights and causing you to fear for your life) with lethal force. Just let the public get rid of unjust cops the same way we do violent criminals (we shoot to kill).

Look, when the police come and say hey, we're taking your guns now under this or that statute, you have 2 good options. Say nothing and protect yourself from criminal prosecution while they raid your home and take your guns. After you are disarmed you can go to the courts and hope you get them back. Option 2 go down shooting. If you know you're going to die and if you don't die rot in prison for killing cops, the last thing you should worry about is whether or not you lied to those same cops about your firearms.
They literally are amendments to the constitution and they act to prevent the government from infringing on your god given rights. But many governments in the past infringed on God given rights and our founding fathers put protections in place to prevent it from happening to us via a multi-teared system. Separation of powers being bone. A complete enumerated list of powers granted to congress being another. A split legislature being a third. And as a final fuck you to tyrannical government a list of rights that are protected via the bill of rights and to withdraw these protections a requirement of 3/4ths of the states to agree to amend them out. These rights have been violated by innumerable governments throughout history and once that happens again and if it happens again in the US, the tree of liberty is going to have be watered to get them back.
The courts ultimately. As the prosecutors will argue the arrest was lawful the defense unlawful and if the defense wins, you can't charge the man with resisting arrest.
