I am new here only a couple of months and just recently got brave enough to post anything. I understand if your skeptical but that's what I was told and I'm pretty jazzed about hearing it.
Alaska has always counted absentee and certain other ballots a week after the election there are usually so few it never really matters. This year is different because of the WuFlu. GEOTUS has %71 with around %40 yet to be counted on Tuesday. Alaska is hard core MAGA country. I live here and I'm not worried about us even the slightest.
I don’t know all the exact details it takes to get one but to be honest I think that you just request one.The absentee ballots all have to be returned by Election Day. They have always counted those a week after the election, it’s usually not so many to make any difference.This year is different of course, many more cast absentee. I don’t know the all details but you have to request those, show ID, voter registration etc. There are about 6 state legislature elections that are close currently and may be affected by the outstanding ballots but that’s about it. They are also counting in person early votes that were cast after Oct 29 as well. The in person early votes cast before Oct 29 were counted on Election Day. My brother, sister in law and nephew all voted early This past Saturday as well as a lot of other people because they were worried about Election Day lines. They actually stood in 18 degree F and a 10 mph wind for over 2 hours to do so. They made it inside the building after 2 hours and had about another 30 minute wait to vote. Three more For MAGA as if just the amount of dedication didn’t tell ya that already.
Well this is my first official anything on TDW, I’ve been lurking around reading, up voting but never commenting. I decided that since I do live in Alaska and we’re all going through such skull fuckery from these people not to add to your sense of WTF is happening. Alaska all precincts are reported %100 because they have. The reason for the delay is absentee ballots which won’t be counted until Tuesday, because of the wuflu there were a lot of them this year. These are absentee ballots not mail ballots . Alaska didn’t change our election rules this year absentee ballots are on the up and up and I’m real proud of how we voted so far this election here in Alaska. Trump won here and were sending Sullivan back to the Senate and Young to the house, although there are a lot of absentee ballots to be counted nothing as far as that will change. I’m actually surprised anybody has even noticed. MAGA....I can’t wait to see GEOTUS inauguration this coming January. The reason I say I’m surprised is often times they call elections while we are still voting and people don’t usually notice us during an election, sparsely populated and far away.Alaska has its own time zone 1 hour earlier than PST, GMT -8. Alaska has only 3 Electoral votes. Alaska has voted D only one time in its history for President. That was in 1964.

I understand here in the valley that we will meet at 2 at the Trunk Rd park and ride then go into Eagle River and pick up more at the Lion's club and then into Anchorage.
