I just had a guest speaker who is a career counselor do a “raise your hand if you want to go to college” towards my students, in an attempt to peer pressure all students into agreeing it was NEEDED. I asked about her own kids and she said that one only finished a few years before starting her own business and the other went into the military and was now workin at target after a medical discharge.

I jumped on the military opening and got her to explain how he was not sure what to do with his life after HS and he wasn’t the best student, so the military was a good source of income and will help him pay for college if he decides to go back later. My kids had NEVER heard someone sell the military as a good thing before (well most of them), and I think at least a few were going to sign up for jROTC in HS next year because they should rank up their pay when they enlist (I think).

Most of my students are NOT college material and pushing them down that path is going to cost them a lot of money and they will most likely drop out before getting their degree or will get something stupid that doesn’t translate to a good career.

NC voter here. McCrory sucked and I voted for Cooper 2016. Cooper sucked so I voted Forrest 2020. I’m was anticipating Cooper’s win in 2016 because everyone I knew in a Republican stronghold was done with McCrory.

2020, I know that the triangle loves Cooper and they have a lot of sway, but Forrest’s main platform was opening up schools and getting us back to normal which was resonating with every Republican. If Trump won NC, Forrest should have won NC as well since every Republican was voting R for both positions.

I don’t understand how centrist or democrat voters can be okay with this lack of transparancy. If they truly wanted a peaceful transition they will need to silence our complaints and objections by adhering to the utmost transparancy. At best, they would be dealing with 4 years of legitimacy claims, and at worst...

There has been moments in our history when the black and white voters began to vote together against the establishment. The democrats have a history of starting race wars to keep poor people divided along color lines instead of uniting. Use a search engine besides google to look up the Fusion Party and the Wilmington Race Riots. The only successful coup in US history. My favorite part was when he said “oh my god, this is Trump Country!”

The program seems to be keeping all candidates close together so it doesn’t look as suspicious with the desired winner coming out 3% or less ahead. This was actually described almost verbatim just days before the election by trumps people and it was censored by big tech. Lookup scored card and hammer. They are just names of vote manipulation programs, but this data is what they described as their function.

I wasn’t impressed with that hole in his story either. If bad guys knew it worked, they would have done it to get Hilary elected in 2016. If the good guys blocked them in 2016, then they should be able to explain what happened, or repeat their actions to save this election.

I can promise you that we teachers covered it. The problem is only that we cover it in a way that students pass a test and not take the time to have student really interact with it in a meaningful way. There is too much content to cover for US history and so it gets jammed together and compressed into short 1hr summaries and then reviewed in terms of multiple choice questions.

I teach USHistory and I’m about as based as the rest of us here. MOST of my students still can’t explain the electoral college system even though I JUST covered it on the Monday before Election Day. I would have loved to do more, but even that was not aligned with my current unit. Since it was a presidential election we decided to deviate for a single day before students were out the next day.

I do have a couple of kids that are following things outside of FAKE news and a couple of parents that have told their kids about Big Mike.

I feel like Monday is gonna be rough. People are worried about big changes that will make growth more difficult along with increased corporate tax rates. If I had more significant money tied up on stocks I would be pulling it until the dust settles, and I doubt I’m the only one thinking it. I predict stock crashes as people worry about drops which is a self fulfilling prophecy. The left will blame Trump’s challenging the election as the reason for the crash, but everyone will know they contributed too out of fear of a Biden presidency.

I’m a teacher in NC and all the Trump supporters at school were going nuts today saying he was gonna shut us down again now that he isn’t up for re-election anymore.

Teachers here don’t want to continue this shit. It’s harder than regular teaching, our lowest students are completely absent and will be dumb forever now, and the public thinks we are just sitting around collecting a paycheck. We want schools open too.
