The dirty little secret is, the FBI only wins cases that people plead out on. The Feds have a shockingly high conviction rate, but only because people plead guilty. When you take guilty pleas out of the stats, their conviction rate goes to dogshit, like 20 percent. Lefties, for all their other faults, always fight the charges. The FBI doesn't have a clue on what to do against people that it knows will fight back. Let that be a lesson to us all, always fight the charges. Never plead guilty.

My best guess is that the reason the FBI and DOJ aren't moving on the Bidens is that this guy is an intelligence asset and the Bidens were doing something nastier than just influence peddling (though that's certainly part of it). I'm thinking it's something more akin to Iran Contra. Instead of peddling cocaine, this time around the CIA (or whoever) was letting the Bidens and Clintons peddle influence and was taking a cut off the top to run their own operations.
