Tell her to hold up the “OK” gesture instead... but more realistically I agree with the other commenter... give her a note expressly forbidding that she hold up a racist hand gesture and advise that any adverse action toward your daughter will be met with so many lawsuits you’ll own the school.

It’s not that hard, I don’t wanna come off as sarcastic or belittling here, so just know that I’m being sincere (hard to convey in txt). You’re not asking a new question, religious scholars, philosophers, and everybody from Socrates to Alexander the Great, to Einstein, and a lot of people a lot smarter than me have asked the same question. “If God exists, why do bad things happen to good people?”.. short answer, no one knows. Why? Because we’re not God. One part of the longer answer is, we shouldn’t know. If God proved his existence (snapped his fingers and cured cancer for example, or all of a sudden a big booming voice came out of the clouds), it would, in essence, negate your ability to freely choose to accept him... he wrote the Bible (through inspired authors) and told you it was his word, now you either believe it or you don’t, but if a big booming voice said “here I am, see here’s proof, I’m real.” then just the nature of that being existing would make it impossible to do anything but obey that being... it wouldn’t be a consensual relationship, it would be forced just by the knowledge of His existence... that’s my understanding of the argument anyway. Others can feel free to add or disagree, I’m always open to learning new stuff
Any semi-auto or pump shotgun and/or a full sized glock 9mm (full sized to manage recoil and comfort to shoot, assuming you don’t plan on carrying) I hate glocks personally, but they’re VERY reliable, and most people find them comfortable to point, and quick to learn on... most importantly, whatever you buy, practice with it, and be responsible. IMHO
