Pretty interesting how normal it is for a lot of us, but it seems so strange and scary for so many (they don't get it at all that there is no boogie man connected to the kind of gun use that a lot of us grew up with)! I grew up with guns. My dad was making his own shotgun shells in the garage, cleaning guns all the time, teaching my brother and me how to use them and how to treat them with respect. We got duck, deer, target practice, protection, and at times money for rent when needed (they build their own personality when you know the history, who made them and why--selling them for rent is like selling a trusted hound dog or farm dog! :'( You know what I mean?

I was in Texas near the Texas / Mexico border visiting an old friend for a week, and she said that I should not go outside walking around the neighborhood because my skin was so white I could be taken by the cartel. Her family explained that it had happened a couple times at least in that area. I walked to the car and from the car to the store or mall and that's it. Never alone outside, ever!
