A couple of Summers back, before pot was legalized in my state, there were some growers up in the hills outside of the town where my in-laws lived. The sheriff was planning a raid to go up there and clear them out and arrest the growers. Rather than get caught, the growers just set their plants on fire. Which, obviously, wasn't a great idea cuz they got arson charges tacked onto their pot charges. But anyway, the whole town was downwind of the fire and everyone was super pleasant to be around for the next few days.
Trump knew this was going to happen. He even said so months ago. He couldn't move against them then because it would look like the sitting president was tampering with the election in order to remain in power. Now, however, he has all of the tools he needs in order to A) secure our future elections so that future presidents do not have to deal with this shit. And B) remove Biden from office by using the legal means at his disposal.
You need to stop listening to all of the doomsayers and alarmists saying this is going to result in Civil War. Trump is a peace maker. He's proven time and time again that he possesses the ability to bring anyone to the table and make them sit down and discuss terms.
It looks messy right now, but that's because the Democrats are doing everything in their power to distract people. Biden won't be president. This isn't going to come to civil war. By January we'll be inaugurating Trump for his second term with the promise that in 2024 our election sites will be secure.
The left and the RINOs are trying their best to destroy our hope right now. They're cancelling the holidays, bringing up Covid again, and honking 24/7 about Biden as president. It's a smoke screen. Because they all know that once the election fraud is cleared up and everything is independently certified, there will be nothing stopping Trump from locking down our election process and stopping the fraud. Permanently.
By calculations; 38,588 votes were cast in the presidential election in Floyd County, meaning the ballots found equal 6.8% of votes not originally counted.
Some would call that statistically significant.
When my husband lost his job back during the recession of the Obama era, we had to go on Food Stamps temporarily. We were required to fill out an application, but we weren't required to provide actual proof of income, or any ID really. We just had to demonstrate that we were actively trying to support ourselves but couldn't.
Which actually means that we had to write a short letter saying that my husband lost his job and is looking for work but we need help. He signed the letter. Then we had to submit "proof" that we had applied to jobs each week. The proof was just another letter basically where we listed jobs that he had applied to and whether or not he had heard back from them. Literally no hard evidence was required at any point in this process.
Several people that I knew back then were just making shit up. They didn't work and weren't looking for work. They weren't even trying to do anything to improve their situation. They just wrote up their weekly piece of fiction and sent it off to the welfare office.
When we finally got back on our feet and no longer needed food stamps, I had to actually play phone tag for about an hour before I could find someone who would put a stop to the benefits that were getting added to our food stamp card every month. No one I talked to seemed to know how to actually do that. It was like they'd never had anyone request to stop receiving benefits. But if I hadn't they were just going to keep dumping hundreds of dollars into an account every single month whether or not I gave them the evidence they'd originally requested.
Okay, the email thing. I've only done cursory research, but as I understand it he never claimed to have invented email as a whole. But he did write a piece of software that formed the basis for email as we know it today.
Also, the term conspiracy theory was invented solely to discredit people. I'm not saying this guy is completely right about everything, I haven't looked into him enough to know one way or the other. What I do know is that every time I see someone branded as a conspiracy theorist by wikipedia or MSM or politicians I sit up and take interest in what they're saying. A lot of the time, they're not as insane as everyone wants to make them sound.
They've only been controlled opposition for decades now. Their whole audience is literal baby boomer conservatives and lazy young adults that grew up thinking that "watching the news" is peak "adulting."
As the other guy said, Disney only bought the entertainment side of things. However, I think that may have mostly been a front. Even the most naive of sheeple isn't going to trust a "conservative" news outlet that's directly owned by Disney. I have no evidence for this, it's just speculation, but it makes sense to me.
Either way, Fox has been little more than controlled Opposition for decades now. I really don't understand why people are so surprised by this.
I hate to say this, but Fox has been little more than controlled opposition for decades now. Last night they clearly dropped all pretense though.
Looking into it further, it looks like you may be right. I know almost every other part of the Fox Network was acquired by them. I didn't realize that the news section was partitioned off. Obviously I have no evidence for this, but I assume it's mostly to maintain appearances. That could just be my tin foil hat getting a little too tight though.
Oregon Voter here too. I'm pretty sure everyone in my very large family voted Trump(except for maybe two people). I'm cautiously optimistic
Just a friendly reminder, Fox is owned by Disney. You can't trust any of the mainstream media outlets. Even those that claim to be independent or conservative.
Edit: Okay, Disney apparently doesn't own Fox News. Only the rest of the Fox Network. The rest of my point still stands.
They literally loved him until 2016.
I know the feeling. I don't mind people occasionally voicing their opinion on things, but when your whole stream turns political I'm out. I watch streams to unwind. If I want politics I can turn on the TV or go to literally any other website.
The other issue is that Americans (especially liberals) demand adequate compensation for their time. These people generally don't. If you do any sort of freelance work online, you'll wind up directly competing with Indians who will undercut your prices by 50% or more. They will work for pennies an hour.
A lot of H1-Bs just want to get into the country. You can pay them far below the average wage for whatever job, just on the promise of getting them into the US.
I think I've only watched one of his streams and decided he just wasn't for me. I really haven't kept up with much of the drama around him either. So I only have a vague idea what it's all about.
The great thing though, is that there is literally a streamer for everyone. If you don't like a particular streamer, keep looking. There's a good chance that you'll find someone you like to hang out with eventually.
Some of my personal favorites just stream as a hobby and they've usually got less than 10 viewers at a time. But the chat is pretty animated and people recognize each other. So there's not just the connection to the streamer, but to other people as well.
It's hard. I'm extremely introverted and have massive social anxiety. I still get super nervous before a stream even though I've been doing it on and off for about a year. What really helped me was getting a few family members to hop in the chat at the start of the stream. Having someone to actually talk to helps a ton. Plus, people are more likely to stick around if they see if you've got a somewhat active chat.
Also, embracing my awkwardness helps a lot. I stammer when I get nervous, forget words, I have a hard time remembering things that I just said. It's hard to embrace something that would normally be embarrassing, but once I started playing into it instead of hiding from it, I actually felt a lot better about myself.
Yup. I rarely watch big streamers. Most of the people I watch are actually part of my core group of viewers. Some of them stream before or after me, and I go and hang out with them to prep for a stream or unwind after. It's cool because we can carry our viewers over to each other and since our styles are similar there's this sense of community that's started to emerge.
The idea isn't about watching other people play games. Only people who play esports at a professional level can build an audience around gameplay alone. Streaming is about building a community. Some streamers (Like Dr. Disrespect) create a persona that is over the top that people enjoy. The majority though are average people who wanna hang out with someone while playing video games.
I stream fairly regularly and, while I'm far from large, I have a handful of regulars that come and hang out with me while I'm playing. They're usually playing the same game at the same time and we discuss strategies for things depending on the game. Sometimes, I've done streams where I play fairly popular games blind, meaning I've got no idea what to expect from the game. A lot of people who watch those streams wanna see how someone completely new reacts to the game play. This type of stream is most effective for the horror genre, because the viewers all know a jump scare is coming but the streamer doesn't.
At the end of the day, there are a few massive mega streamers that make crap loads of money playing video games all day. The rest of us are just average joes that wanna build a community that likes the same things we like. It's helped break me out of my shell a bit, and gives me something to look forward to at the end of a long day that helps me feel a little less isolated especially with all of the quarantine stuff right now.
There's a difference between standing up for something and bashing everyone around you because they don't have a hard-on for violence.
I don't doubt that we're heading for armed conflict. People have to stand up and stop giving into the abuse and unless something changes, that will probably result in bloodshed.
But it's absolutely asinine to wish for that. If any of these people actually knew anything about war they wouldn't be wishing for it. I'll do what I must to protect my freedom and that of those around me, but I do not long for things to turn to bloodshed.
Do I think people should be punished for their crimes? Yes. I believe that murder and child abuse both deserve the death penalty. I believe that prison sentences are too short and punishments too light.
The person in the video above is clearly acting suspicious but I'm not the sort to lynch someone without more proof. That's a liberal tactic. Videos can be deceiving, as the recent months should have taught everyone.
I'm legit getting tired of the tryhard keyboard warriors here. It's worse than reddit sometimes.
I was looking over my ballot, researching candidates for state representatives and such. I realized that one of our reps, running unopposed, had only ever been elected to one office half a dozen years ago. Prior to that he'd been "appointed" to positions by people in charge, or run unopposed. Now he's climbing towards the highest levels of state government and there's almost no information about who he is or what he stands for. And it made me realize that there are probably hundreds (thousands?) of politicians like that all across the country.
Heck the mayor of my town never even campaigns because they always run unopposed. They always nominate someone from the city council who always wins. The city council members are picked from board members of various committees around town and they always arrange it so that no one ever has to compete for their spot. And there is literally no information anywhere about these people. The only time you ever hear about them is when you see their name on a ballot.
Once you've gotten to mayor, you're only a short step to a county position. And then on to state government. You can speed the process up if you make the right friends in the right places who will skip you ahead. And all you've got to do is vote the way they tell you to.
But differentiating people in the crowd would require you requesting or them identifying themselves as supporting one candidate or the other. You withholding drinks and chairs from the supporters of one candidate is definitely partisan.
I believe you need one to get your permit for legally gathering wild mushrooms too
I have a few family members that are convinced we're heading for a civil war and that there's no way this doesn't end in violence. They're legitimately terrified because they're buying into the propaganda. I had one of them even tell me, back before the election, that Trump should probably lose or the rioting will only get worse. So I assumed you had fallen for the same thing. Sorry for that!
