The purpose of taxes is not to fund the government, they have the money printer for that. The purpose of taxes is to force you to seek out US dollars, or you go to prison. Also taxes act as a money sink to lessen the supply seeping out of the money printer. For some reason a lot of you guys on the 'right' think we still operate like a regular budget.
