This is why you take efforts to prevent your neighbors from having any knowledge about your firearms, and don’t post images of your guns online. I have my own shooting range. I have no reason to ever email anyone about firearms. I’ve bought ammo...so they’ll come looking for a .308. “I bought that when I went and rented a gun at a range when I went with friends. Prove otherwise.” Honestly this right here is the closest to confirmation of anything “that” they could ever find.
If you have property, put it in a trust with a name unrelated to yours.
Hunting license and a couple of background checks from gun shops over 20 years is all. Never got concealed carry or anything.
The main problem I see with their plan is that there are millions and millions of firearms out there which have been handed down for at least one generation. Are they going to run through sales receipts in the 50s to see who might be hiding a gun in the attic?
