I think it is incredibly worthwhile to bring attention to this community the existence of USPS IMb serial numbers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligent_Mail_barcode). All commercial mail print barcodes on the envelope (you've definitely seen them) which consists of a unique serial number that gets scanned by all USPS sorting systems.

Any sender who includes these mail barcodes will receive scan events from the USPS, complete with timestamps and zip codes of the area in which it got ingested into the mailstream. For example, a popular mailing service like Lob.com will track and provide all first-class letters with mail scan events such as this:

[ { "name": "In Transit", "time": 1529124355000, "object": "tracking_event", "location": "60199", "date_created": 1529130794366, "date_modified": 1529130794366 }, { "name": "In Local Area", "time": 1529243565000, "object": "tracking_event", "location": "10199", "date_created": 1529245717789, "date_modified": 1529245717789 }, { "name": "Processed for Delivery", "time": 1529293000000, "object": "tracking_event", "location": "10199", "date_created": 1529296291997, "date_modified": 1529296291997 } ]

I think it is incredibly important for the Trump legal team to subpoena the USPS for the scan events of all ballots that were mailed with a given MID (it's a 6 digit mail id) for each state and force them to produce these scan events which include timestamps and locations in which the mail was processed. All mail that enters the mail stream will receive these mail events, and those that are missing or whose timestamps are incorrect would clearly indicate fraud!

Help me spread the word on the USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode system!
