Agree 99% it just put a bad taste in my mouth and i honestly want nothing to do with him.
A coworker told me he was looking forward to him coming back because we could use his guidance. Then he did and I felt like I was just a couple of bucks to the guy.
Even though my name is KRosen I'm not a jew, but I did have an interesting conversation with an Israeli Jew a long time ago. That forum is now defunct. I asked him about his religion and he said and i paraphrase quote "if we had our great temple we would still be doing sacrifices"
I asked him why they don't rebuild their great temple, and he iirc said "because god hasn't commanded us to."
That last thing had meant something to me. Everybody is always waiting for a call from god. why?
Jesus had to die for this to be accomplished
Why did the betrayal have to happen? I'm certain there is an important lesson from it, but the only one i ever hear is "OH WELL IT HAD TO HAPPEN JUST SO JESUS COULD DIE" and i still do not believe that. It had to happen to be a lesson to people perhaps but it does not mean it was a good thing. A beneficial thing perhaps, but not a GOOD thing.
Please give me your thoughts because I appreciate them.
You're saying that as if he hadn't been giving lectures and speeches for at least a decade before that happened. Also, his "drug addiction" was an addiction to anxiety medication that was prescribed for him.
Great but why was his third upload on YouTube after he came back asking me to buy his new book? I liked his talks on religion but was pretty disappointed that with everything that was going on at the time his only wisdom was 'buy my book'
Stop comparing him to Judas. Judas had his role to play - without him, Jesus would not have died for our sins... and for it, he paid the dearest price.
Look just gonna throw this out there - what if jesus didn't die for our sins and was actually still around to help us be better people like, directly?
I never understood the whole "it's okay because god WANTED judas to betray him" - just because god knew it was gonna happen doesn't mean he necessarily liked it.
Nietzsche said people betray themselves for the sake of their good name all the time. You can feel this. It seems to center in your solar plexus when you say something or do something that is not virtuous. Then you’ll disintegrate, and then you’re weak and you can feel that. Then you’ll cover it up with a bunch of rattling arguments, trying to convince yourself and other people that what you were doing was actually okay, but you know and it’s your rational arrogance and authoritarianism that forces you not to drop your stupid presuppositions and just pay attention to what your being is revealing to you.-Jordan Peterson
He was in a medically induced coma because he coudln't deal with his drug addictions, and when he finally came back after like 2 years all he did was hock his stupid books.
Not saying that your quote is wrong but it's really hard to take it on faith when he's the one giving it.
Now you will never get that many to march on Washington again. The swamp saw how weak and uncommitted our movement is, and they seized on the opportunity to go on the offensive. They had been on their heels, and now are firmly in control. There was no plan for 1/6, or if there was it was not effectively communicated at all.
It was never the movement that was weak, it was trump in this case who was weak.
"Sorry folks, that's just how it is"
Why? Why did he tell everyone to just leave?
but he wasn't the right man to take it across the finish line, and that's ok.
Is it ok?
and who does 911 call? a mechanic?
Down the line somebody has to have some idea of what they are doing. You missed my point anyways, 911 operators in my area are worthless and you are better off calling the local police office if you need an officer for some reason. Your solution is worthless and would only serve to act as a false solution in this case.
Should people sitting on the sideline not bother criticizing because "a solution has already been put forward" ? I understand you are trying to be positive, but people should be allowed to be critical.
Dont make me research just tell me
