Interesting that you refer to this. I just finished reading a book on the Spanish flu pandemic. As the article stated, it began in a military barracks, and since we were at war, these infected soldiers were sent all over Europe, thus spreading the virus. The pictures made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. It was exactly like looking at pictures today except for the outdated clothing and modes of transportation. EVERYONE was wearing masks. One picture showed a gigantic room of victims. They were in separate beds with sheets on all four sides. On a street outside a policeman was wearing a mask and directing traffic. Street workers (garbage collectors, whatever) are pictured wearing masks and the streets were empty. I got it on Amazon. The title is “The Great Influenza” by John M. Barry. Absolutely fascinating reading. The disease was horrific and the symptoms terrifying beyond belief. Ten times worse than what we are seeing today with covid. Very high mortality rates. They actually had to bury people in mass graves without coffins, stacked on top of each other. High percentage of deaths among nurses and doctors. Death frequently occurred within 12 hours of first symptoms appearing. Fascinating reading, if you like this type of thing. So many parallels to what we are facing today.

It could be that long. I would be curious as to when he was first diagnosed. I know those ‘gaffes’ last year were signs of cognitive impairment. You know as well as I do that there are doctors and other medical personnel who knew exactly what his medical condition was and is, probably along with certain politicians. I feel it should be mandated that presidential candidates have to submit to a thorough medical examination, including scans and cognitive tests, before being allowed to run for the most powerful office on the planet. It’s ridiculous that his wife and family have subjected him to the rigors of a presidential election. He certainly shouldn’t be in the position of President at this point because his impairment is apparently bad enough that he should not be making any type of important decisions. Two days ago, when asked how he was preparing for the new conference, he replied what news conference. I’m sure world leaders have zero faith or confidence in what is going on in Washington.

Lol. This is EXACTLY how I predicted the press conference would go when it was announced. The ONLY way it could work would be with questions being known ahead of time with corresponding answers. They would be asked in a certain order to minimize chance of screw ups. And conservative reporters were so off limits.
I’ve been saying this press conference would be highly controlled. The man didn’t even know about there even being a press conference when asked earlier about it. Was Fox or any other conservative reporter called upon by Biden?
