I have an idea for a video meme. It's the scene from Blazing Saddles where the Harvey Korman character is listing all the bad guys he wants to hire to destroy the town. Thugs, pugs, dimwits, nitwits, etc. Put George Soros over Harvey Korman's face and any crummy Democratic politician over his sidekick's face. Lol. Dumb, I know. I'm old and I can't meme. But I do enjoy a good meme. Okay, going back to quietly reading posts now. Lol.

Makes me so sad and angry to see beautiful statues destroyed. They want to destroy history but also want to destroy beauty. Whooping and hollering like ISIS members destroying ancient monuments. I truly despise these fools.

I am retired and up until every store put up signs saying no mask no entry I used to go shopping several times a week, mostly just to get out of the house and walk around with my elderly mother. Now I hate shopping and have stopped going into stores because the stupid mask makes me hot and short of breath. I despise the masks. There is no way a thin strip of cotton cloth stops any virus. It's insanity.

May you find comfort and peace knowing that you gave your doggo a great life. So sorry for your loss. Try to remember the good times. Losing a beloved pet is so hard.

Putting an elderly person under general anesthesia can lead to dementia. That is what my dad's doctor told us when dad needed hernia surgery.

Biden's speech was inspiring. So inspiring, in fact, that I suddenly felt compelled to finally open all of the Trump and RNC mailers that have been piling up on my kitchen counter over the past few weeks. Put a check in every one of them. Mailing them in the morning.

He had a lot of good material tonight, courtesy of the lunatics at the DNC. I loved his delivery, too; a perfect mixture of totally sincere incredulation and bitingly sarcastic mockery. Real comedy. I laughed a lot and it felt good. Uplifting.

I saw tons of Trump signs on my recent trip to Ohio. So many that it was remarkable. Made me proud of Ohio.

Every day. By doing so, I always know what is going to be on the evening news programs before they air. This place is the best source for news.

Oh, no. Very sad to hear of this great man passing.

I used to see those signs every time I drove through Harrison on my way to Missouri. Unless they moved them or I just missed them, I haven't seen them in several years.

I have tried my whole life to not hate people.

I hate these people.

Hate. These. People.

How are these insufferable, rude, ignorant asses members of Congress?

I am enraged.

I used to get cornered on a regular basis by the building union rep at my school. Don't you know that if you get in trouble and your job is at stake the union will protect you? Do you realize that you are reaping the benefits of union negotiations without paying the dues? You don't have to do recess duty because of the union! She finally left me alone when I told her that in my opinion, the union negotiated for things that benefited the teachers at the expense of the students. Like not doing recess duty. The district hired untrained older women to monitor the students during recess and the problems with behavior during recess multiplied. The teacher knows who to watch and what behaviors to look out for in the group. Much like the police know who to watch and what behaviors to look out for on a given street. I also told the rep that I would never 'get into trouble' and need union help because I was a good teacher. And I voted Republican and didn't want to give money to the NEA, who support Democrats. She left me alone after that.

Probably got that line from his radical college professor.
