You can call it whatever you want, all i know is if my code has "glitches" im at risk of being fired and rightfully so. Im not saying im flawless by any stretch. But if i debug my code, test and sign off on completion, then if "glitches" were found, im either incompetent or lazy. And i just program conference rooms and AV equipment. This is the election and even the beginner programmers can add integers in a code. Yes it can be complex but this isnt. They are trying to make it complex to confuse people who dont know what they are talking about.
A Program does EXACTLY what you program it to do. Yes there can be bugs in BAD code but that is the fault of said programmer. There is no such thing as a glitch, only bad programmers and programs that work exactly as designed
