I appreciate all these things!
I know that there will inevitably be political submissions that need to be removed from these other ".win" communities. I suggest that rather than deleting them outright or locking them or whatever (similar to what R****T does) you have the mods flag them as 'political' and move them into a 'funny politics' or 'animals politics' community or repository of some sort.
Called 602-506-3011. The fastest way to a person I found was to press 1 for English followed by 6 for other issues and then 0 to talk to an agent. I’m on hold now.
I went through the ‘election questions’ menu and had trouble getting to anything other than a robot.
I feel like you have two serious choices for a phone: Android OS or iOS. I recall reading that Android has at least 3 known 'backdoors' for remote access and Apple still has zero. In addition, Apple doesn't send data back to the server unless it tells you it's going to per various people who have done extensive testing. Apple will send data back only if you have the options allowed, such as "help improve maps" and "Help improve siri" and "Send crash data back to app developers." The guy doing the testing was quite extensive, driving around and walking around town with phones in airplane mode with all tracking features disabled and then connecting to a wifi network he controlled and watching what traffic went out. TLDR the iPhone didn't 'phone home' but the Android phone started tryin to get data to the Google servers including trip duration, method of travel (based on accelerometer) and wifi network data collected even while in Airplane.
Meanwhile, iOS sent back no data at all. 0 bytes. Furthermore, Apple claims all over it's website that it's still secure.
They're both known evil companies with bad practices, but Google seems worse. I see Apple as the lesser of two evils style choice. I also recognize that in the long run it doesn't much matter, they're both probably tracking you in various ways.
