First, Vattel said both parents must be citizens so right there both Obama and Cruz are disqualified. We are talking qualifications to run for POTUS not for citizenship. People today are woefully uneducated when it comes to civics. They should know the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Second, if Nancy Pelosi didn't perpetrate the fraud and certify Obama and if the republicans had a spine, this could have been fought. But the parties are two sides of the same coin. Trump has given some a spine now.
According to Vattels Law of Nations 1758, which was referenced by the founders when framing the Constitution, the definition of a natural born citizen:
"§ 212. Citizens and natives. The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country. "
Therefore, since Obama's father, Barack Obama Sr was born in Kenya, he is not considered a natural born citizen for the purposes of being eligible to become President of the United States.
This argument is also used for Ted Cruz since his father was Cuban born and then became a Canadian citizen along with Cruz's mother. Everyone argues about his mother being an American citizen but according to Vattel, it's the father's nationality that is critical.
The Democrats seem to be pushing this which is not surprising considering they are totalitarians. But this is a violation of the Nuremburg code. Did we learn nothing from history?

Christ is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ, the Messiah, and is used as a title for Jesus in the New Testament. Jesus came to be called "Jesus Christ", meaning "Jesus the Christos", by his followers after his death and believed resurrection.
This is why the electoral college is so important. If it was just based on popular vote the counties in lower New York state would vote in the POTUS.
In their infinite wisdom, the United States' Founders created the Electoral College to ensure the STATES were fairly represented. Why should one or two densely populated areas speak for the whole of the nation?

Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.
There are 62 counties in New York State.
Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won 16.
Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.
In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond).
Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.
These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles.
When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.
Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.) DO NOT and SHOULD NOT speak for the rest of our country!
And...it's been verified and documented that those aforementioned 319 square miles are where the majority of our nation's problems foment.
