The fucked up thing about the world we live in today, owning a small home would feel like living in a mansion to a lot of people. Home ownership for the millennial generation is down when compared to other generations. The people of my generation want to own their own homes, we want things but we can't have them. We are being squeezed by high rents and low wages. I think it should be illegal to own more then one residential home since there have been far too many people buying up property just for a source of income. This drives prices for residential homes higher then what is affordable to most people.
Don't even get me started on forgiven investments buying up property. It should be made illegal for anyone but Americans to own the property rights to American soil.
No child left behind act is the worst! There is no reason to expect every child to graduate from school. There will always be a kid that eats glue in the back of the classroom all the way up to high school. There is no god damn reason to expect that child to get a high school diploma. There is nothing wrong with being weak of mind but strong is body. It's normal and it's natural. Life doesn't have to be brutal to people like that and it shouldn't be brutal to them. They should go into a trade, hell even smart people should get into trades. Not being smart isn't the end of the world.
