It's hard not to be black pilled after last night. The whole notion that "it's alright because Trump will fight the fraud after the fact" doesn't fill me with much confidence, considering how much fraud occurred in 2018 and fucking none of it got reversed afterwards. Multiple Republican seats flipped due to obvious shenanigans, and fuck all was done to reclaim them; or if anything was actually done then nothing ever came of it.
If we're relying on the fraud being overturned after the fact, we're screwed. Even if Trump's team of lawyers manage to get ballots thrown out or counting stopped or whatever in some of these states, the media is going to have the next 4 years to paint him as an illegitimate president who "stole" the election, and there's just going to be even more polarization and division.
We needed a fucking mandate with this election. We needed that "red tsunami" to drown out the fuckery and show the radical left communists that their ideology was soundly being rejected. Instead, in the best case scenario, the radical left just almost won. That's not exactly an inspiring result, as much as some people here want to pretend like Rome isn't currently burning down around us.
No one on the left was excited to vote for Biden, but plenty on the left were excited as hell to vote against Trump. That's what this is. The country has become so polarized and obviously controlled by the media that half of them would've literally voted for a fucking corpse if it meant getting Bad Orange Man out of the White House.
Whether Trump wins or loses, I'm scared for the future of this nation. A country can't exist with half its population hating it.
Texas was within 2% of having a Democrat governor in 2018. People need to stop taking it for granted. California transplants and yuppies in the Houston/Austin areas have brought it perilously close to a battleground state.
Haven't been following the results out of Texas so far, but I've been warning people here since 2018 not to take Texas for granted. It was within 2% of going blue in 2018 and is the primary destination for California transplants, but everyone acts like it's a lock.
I'm able to get to gab.com just fine. Just looks like a temporary outage. I get that everyone is jumpy, but we can't cry wolf every time a site fails to load the first time. Even the error message shows that Gab's servers were still up, as it was serving you a Gab maintenance page. If it was legit down, it'd be a Cloudflare host unresolved message or a 404 not found screen.
I'd love to see it, and I suppose after an entire summer of radical Democrats burning their cities down while Democrat politicians bail them out, there's probably a better chance of it happening than ever before, but I would be absolutely shocked if that state goes red. It's as solidly blue as California. Even more solid. It voted for Carter in 1980 when even Cali went for Reagan.
"Donald Trump is so divisive," say the media who have spent the last 5 years convincing mothers and fathers that their own children are racist Nazis for supporting a Constitutionalist president who puts Americans first.
Don't get complacent with the numbers because there's still like 7 more hours until polls close nationally and any sort of Democrat fuckery could still crop up between now and then. Everyone here should be well familiar by now with how an election can look like a sure thing for the Republican candidate even up to polls closing, and then Democrat votes start miraculously pouring in as late-reporting counties post their numbers.
I've lived through enough elections where the Republican was winning handily at 7pm only for the Democrat to surge from behind with "found" ballots and heavily-blue districts that conveniently held off reporting their numbers until the last minute. I'm not celebrating shit until tomorrow morning.
"We're calling the state for Trump."
*late voters don't bother going out*
An hour after the polls close: "Oh look, we just found these boxes of uncounted ballots in the back room that are 90% Democrat. Just enough to flip the outome! How convenient!"
How convenient. And 99% of people reporting it just hand their ballot over and leave, as if they aren't just throwing their own ballot in the trash. I wonder how many thousands of Trump votes have already been lost state-wide across the country? Really disappointing.
So I'm assuming you stood there and waited until the machines were working again, and then watched them as they scanned in all the unscanned ballots? Surely you didn't just take it like a bitch and and then go complain online for internet points, right?
"You're not letting me in?"
Don't be a passive bitch. The correct thing to say would be "You're going to try to stop me from entering?" as you push through them. If they put hands on you to physically keep you out, you call the cops and let these assholes explain to them why they were illegally keeping you out.
Plus isn't PA accepting mail-in ballots up to three days after the election?
