It appears our legal system is designed so that you can violate any law you want if you are willing to write a check.

If there is an unconstitutional ordinance the people who wrote it and passed it and enforce it SHOULD BE FUCKING FIRED IMMEDIATELY, at the least. No second chances, no buying your way out. You fuck with the constitution you are not in government.

Allow me a small correction: People who feel comfortable speaking out in public say Biden won.

How many other people in that coffee shop do you think did exactly what you did?

MAGA my friend.

You heard it here first folks: honesty, integrity, and the consent of the governed are anti-islam.

And they can start it back up any time they want. Just invent a new mild virus, or pick any seasonal one, and suddenly everyone is on house arrest and no one can work.

This is so fucking despicable and a 1000 light years from what America is supposed to be.

This "strategist" is engaged in nothing but a power struggle in which public perception is a weapon. No thought at all as to whether the nominee will be just, or has the qualifications for the position.

It's all vanity and bullshit with these people.

Something to remember: the problems people have in their own countries are not the responsibility of our country to solve.

It is not the responsibility of a government to give out alms, not even to its own people.

The question the US government should be asking is what immigration policy serves the interests of the actual American people, not the immigrants.

As individuals, even as a society, we should care about the good of each human being. But that is not the government's responsibility.

Looking into it a little more, I spoke too soon on the point of excommunication.

A person who "procures a completed abortion" is excommunicated automatically.

http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/p3s2c2a5.htm

The section can be found there. I would say it is certain that anyone who votes people into office who support abortion is in grave danger and if there's any circumstance under which they could do so in good conscience it would be very limited. If it even exists.

You certainly can't believe abortion is somehow right or should be defended as a right and be following the Church's teaching.

She has actually been automatically excommunicated for supporting pro-abortion candidates.

It literally says that in the Catechism.

The ignorance is unbelievable.

[NOTE]: please see my reply below. I was too quick to claim what the Catechism said about excommunication. Those who "procure a completed abortion" are automatically excommunicated. Whether voting for a politician who supports abortion constitutes "procurement" is another question. But the situation is not good. And support for abortion is seriously and gravely uncatholic.

The answer to this person's question is simple: the purpose of abortion is to kill the child so you won't be bothered with the child.

That's why they don't try to save them.

Also, you don't abort space missions just because you changed your mind, or because you really like hitting the launch button but never actually want to go to space.

The author of the article is acting like it's fear of the China virus keeping people away.

I for one really hope it's that my fellow Americans notice what uninspired trash movies have become.

Start making independent art, people. Think of all the great movies and TV shows from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Now think of how much less of a budget you would need to achieve the same level of production quality now.

Now think of the possibilities for independent distribution that exist.

We don't need Hollywood anymore, if we ever did.

Young actors, writers, directors, VFX artists, composers, stuntmen, cinematographers: Don't try to get into the completely corrupt, creatively bankrupt world of Hollywood.

Be bold enough to forge a new path together and start making movies and shows with morals and ideas in them again.

They should really figure out where that bug is that keeps accidentally only silencing their political opponents. It's so embarrassing for them.

Love how this article says nothing about any reasons given by any of the people polled. Don't trust polls. It's quasi-mathematical magic skewed by the person doing the polling. All this article makes me ask is "who runs Military Times?"

If Democrats say not to do something, doing said thing is at least worth consideration.

That's because there is no line. There is a separate, living, human organism in the womb from the moment of conception.

That "clump of cells" is the first stage of human life. If we do not protect and defend a human being at that stage, then we do not value human life. We value something else and human life is only a side effect.

Consider this: the only reason anyone ever "aborts" that "clump of cells" is because they do not want the child. It is the child they are doing away with.
