It's ok, son. We all make mistakes.

While I can sort of appreciate the humor here, as a kind of tongue in cheek bravado, this is actually the kind of image of gun owners that the tyrants would want to spread.

I do not want anyone to break into my house at 2 AM. I want to be asleep, my family secure and comfortable. I don't want there to be thieves. I want them to be home with thier families too.

If I heard a window break at 2 AM I would get my gun and control my fear in order to protect myself, my family, and my property, but I would not relish it.

"We fucked you up with self esteem initiatives and participation trophies, allowed your education to be completely corrupted, and ruined the economy for selfish gain. Now become what we never taught you to be and fix what we broke."

Translation.

What would you call a chief executive of a country that orders, by fiat, that one group of people essentially hand a bunch of money over to another group of people?

Is there a word for that?

Unless they vote against, having colluded to make certain of the outcome so it looks like there is resistance. It sows doubt and causes people to cling to some hope "Maybe my rep is one of the good ones!"

The only thing that will make me trust any politician at this point is direct action for the country contrary to their own self interest. No more talking, no more letters, no more minority decent in fucking committee.

You know, correlation isn't causation, per se, but it's a pretty fucking good sign.

This specifically bothers me when people say "There are only two genders". This isn't true. There are three: masculine, feminine, and neuter. They are grammatical terms grouping words.

There are only two sexes.

Well now that you made a bunch of assertions and used percentages metaphorically I guess I am defeated.

Angrily coming to the opposite conclusion is not either.

I suggested a possibility. I did not make a claim. It is not the 20th yet.

One of the fundamental problems in this country (and all over the world from what I can tell) is that people are unable to calmly, logically follow an argument.

I suggest you stop "guessing". I made a simple statement. He has either done a complete 180 and is now weak and defeated, or he has not. The next step is to work out the implications of these possibilities and consider their likelihood.

I don't know what is going to happen.

Or he hasn't changed his position and his two statements are consistent.

I've said this in a few threads but I think it bears repeating: I saw and verbally confronted provocateurs just outside the Capitol grounds on the 6th. One group had a megaphone, the other had a portable PA system on a sort of cart.

Two different women, as well as a man dressed like Uncle Sam and a guy in a Darth Vader mask, were calling on people to go into the Capitol.

They were in black (except for the Uncle Sam guy) and refused to answer when asked who they were and why they were telling people to act contrary to Trump's wishes. They turned up loud music on their little PA system to drown me out.

This is hilarious. They went to the propaganda guy at, like, 11:30 before lunch and he was like: "sigh... fuck it where's that black civics poster?"

I was there on the 6th. Never even went inside the Capitol grounds. There were groups of people outside the grounds proper, one with a megaphone, another with a friggin mobile PA system, urging people to enter the Capitol.

They were in black. They were hostile when asked who they were and why they were urging this behavior. (I verbally confronted the woman with the PA system and they literally turned up loud music on thier speaker to drown me out.)

It was clearly Antifa.

Well at the risk of being called a Qtard, I'll just ask: who is in the Capitol right now surrounded by barricades and 25000 soldiers and under a curfew? It ain't us.

1
Kekistaniphil 1 point ago +1 / -0

So you mean going into the Capitol and holding it until they gave in to demands? Does that sound like it would ever happen?

1
Kekistaniphil 1 point ago +1 / -0

Was that our final stand though? How could that possibly have worked out? What would have been the ideal scenario?

1
Kekistaniphil 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course they do. But they whip up the rabble by telling them "we we we". Who is going to lead us in our great fight, General Washington?
