They do have to release something. It's in the public interest to do so. If they kept it to courtrooms everyone around here would be screaming bloody murder wanting to know what is going on. There is a psychological component to all of this that is unavoidable. We also have a right as citizens to know as much about what is going on as is practical.
I mean, technically the Palantir stones weren't "evil". They were just tools. When Sauron got his hands on one, they became a tool for evil. The company Palantir and their supercomputers can be seen in the same way. Can be used for good or evil.
Kabuki theater my friend. It's done to try and satisfy the public's anger. The problem is these tech idiots have little to no control over their own companies anymore, expressly so they can be ignorant about it when or if they are ever dragged into an actual courtroom. So nothing said or done in these hearings has any impact on the problems making people angry, so the problems continue and people continue being angry.
Pretty much that's it.
It really rankles me, I see all these guys on here cast the whole FBI or the CIA in the same light. And I am like...these are guys I served with. They are good guys. They just can't run off on their own. You can't be in a system like that and just do your own thing. Nobody in any of these agencies is fucking Jason Bourne. A guy like him or 007 doesn't exist. There is nobody who is so super badass they can just win the day.
I will say, for the most part, the CIA is bad. It really needs to be torched. The FBI pulled a lot from law enforcement so most of those are good guys. But the CIA targeted colleges for recruitment and most of those guys are koolaid drinkers. Yes, a couple of guys from a batallion I was in are CIA now. They were total dicks then and they are total dicks now. And I know a alot more about the CIA than the FBI. The system has always been poison. It just needs to be removed and something else takes its place.
But the FBI is mostly good. We need someone with real leadership skills to come in and fix it. And we 100% need the FBI. This election is proof we need it.
Yeah I always shake my head at the "muh rank and file" crap. The rank and file have no control over the bureau. No more than being in the military you can just go rogue and do something. Shit just doesn't work that way. I guess if all the good guys got together and said "we are going to do the right thing", maybe they could pull something off. But the way it is all structure makes that hard to do.
I don't care who is punished, I want my Republic secured. And then make laws citing the death penalty for doing any of this shit going forward. I don't care about retribution, I want absolution and a tight law that prevents it from happening again.
I care about my country, not public hangings.
I feel the same, but lawyers bank on their reputations and Lin Wood doesn't have a lot to fall back on if he is just shooting off shit.
A good example is Stormy's lawyer. He talked a big game, failed badly, then faced a lot of legal problems and is in prison. He at least had big financial backing available if he could have overcome the prosecutions.
Lin Wood doesn't have that. The Right simply doesn't toss money around like that. It could be his ego is just that big, or it could be he has seen all of this stuff and he is too unprofessional to keep his mouth shut. Or it could be he is being used as a "leaker" on purpose. I really don't know the game here.
Of all of those options, the one I think is the most likely is he is being used as a leaker to scare the Dems and make underlings scared and come forward.
Most of the bottom, the actual agents, are prior police and/or military. Just like the CIA is a lot of prior military. They are generally right-leaning. The guys at the top don't get there by "working up the ranks". CIA/FBI directors are appointed...they are political positions. And these directors spend most of their time simply shuffling out management and bringing in people they "trust". As in people who are paid political hacks.
What the CIA and FBI does is absolutely politically tainted because of this. No matter how much most agents in either department want to do the right thing, they can't just go rogue and do it. It isn't a Jason Bourne movie. They try to go rogue and they are going to be apprehended and locked up real quick. And if they leak, they get hammered. The leaks are authorized by the top. Any other leaks are treated as a crime.
I know a lot of CIA and FBI. I have two very close friends in the FBI and a neighbor who is FBI, who is a leftard but not really the bad kind. It's a mixed bag. The whole top of the bureau is corrupt. Under that you have some corrupt and some not corrupt middle management. And under all of that most of the FBI is not corrupt, but there are enough agents/support/tech guys that are pieces of shit that the FBI can stage sideshows like what happened with the NASCAR thing or when they arrested Roger Stone.
If this investigation is coming out of some office outside of DC, it is possible it is a real "whitehat" operation. If the orders are from the top, you can bet it is nothing but a CYA operation and it will fizzle out.
Nah, you're right. People on our side are going full cancel culture lately. It's pathetic. If you can't figure out what is right or wrong about what one dude says at a given time, you shouldn't be watching anything. It's like people want to be sheep. Just be told who to listen to and whatever they say is "based". It doesn't work like that. You should always listen to what people say, no matter who they are, and judge for yourself based on solid principles whether you will accept it or not.
You're just taking the cancel shit from the Left and using it against anyone you don't like.
Just because your peanut brain can't differentiate between what someone says on a Monday and a Tuesday and you have to put people in some "good" column and some "bad" column doesn't mean the rest of us can't listen or watch everything and be able to accept or reject it case by case.
I'd buy if I can be sure it is totally legal to do that. Predict-it seems rife for lawsuits. They currently are operating under the guise that they are just an "educational experiment" fronted by a university in NZ.
But if you don't care about that and like to gamble, I'd say NV is a sure bet. Some 33k votes margin and the apparent fraud is way more than that margin.
If many of my fellow Americans are uncomfortable with the death penalty, I can accept exile as a form of punishment. Just as long as they are removed completely from the United States forever, with anything they own seized.
Atlanta just isn't big enough. Louisville is a bigger city than Atlanta.
They didn't seem to mess with KY and it went big for Trump with 62% or so of the vote.
GA should have been between 55-60% for Trump.
It's a nonsensical place to try this and logically screams fraud.
You have to go through a whole lot to extradite a US citizen, including a hearing. You'd have a hard time finding a judge willing to write off on extraditing Joe Biden, or anyone for that matter without a solid case against him. It also requires a request from the foreign state to initiate it all, and the last I heard Ukraine had stopped looking into it.
We'd have a much easier time getting Biden on corruption charges here in the US, and I suspect he and many others (like the Clintons) will all be caught up in Trump's fight against the swamp. That's why they went to all of this extreme to try and stop his reelection. They know what is coming in a second Trump term.
