I am for the death penalty only being applied to murder, heinous acts such as child rape, and treason.
Subverting the election is treason. There is no denying that fact. I think the death penalty should absolutely be applied to anyone found having committed it. That does mean the legal bar is higher to convict, but it also means anyone involved can be put to death which would make it a very rare occurrence indeed.
It's the Legislative Branch. They really don't have much teeth to begin with.
The Executive branch is who has the ability to do something about it. And there has been a war within the Executive since the day Trump took control of it.
I'm not a yuge fan of congress critters, but they really do not have any power here. All they can do is try to expose things through hearings and get the populace fired up.

I'm getting really close to putting up a Trump flag myself, even though this is a deep blue area. I saw what the vote counts looked like on election night around here and am thinking maybe it's not as deep blue as I thought.
If it was just me alone, I would have Trump flags and a giant fucking Trump 2020 spotlight in the sky. But I don't want my family being harassed by idiots and my wife tries to keep good communications open with the neighbors, which is important to her (I don't care about the neighbors that much).
Likely fraud
There is still a nonzero chance that this Dominion software is simply a POS and totally flawed. The reason I say that is because it has failed in counties where Republicans control everything, Floyd County, GA being a prime example. The accusations of fraud (which implies intent) using Dominion software require the local officials to use the software to weight the vote in a particular direction. It is difficult to believe that a deep red county did this.
It is more likely that Dominion software can and has been used to illegally weight the vote in Democrat strongholds, but that it is also some really shitty software that has major flaws.

I've made several speeches to that effect. Could have been me. I am an old man, and yes war is hell. You really don't understand that until you are tossed into it.
And we have all these Billy Badasses who own a gun and think "yeah let me at 'em, I'll fix all of this in a week". Then they will be wondering how to get food after that week. Sure, they killed the bad guys but nothing is moving. All the stores are closed. Work says to stay home and eventually work says "adios" because they are facing bankruptcy because the only thing that drives the American economy is the fact we are so stable. And the Dollar itself collapses when the rest of the world sees we aren't stable anymore.
If we have to go into war to preserve this nation, I'll do it. But the downstream effects of that are going to be brutal.
The world isn't going to take a time-out to wait for the US to get its shit together. If we go into civil war, then it will take decades to recover. Period.

But I have to disagree with the idea that we will leave our wife and children. If we have a civil war in this country, the way it is now, you had better take your wife and children with you. Nowhere will be safe.
I am not looking forward to it. Day by day it looks like war is more inevitable. But I have seen war and what it does to a country. If we go to war, no matter who wins it means it will take at least a generation to get back to where we are now. Probably longer than that.
If you think Covid shutdowns were bad, wait until we have a civil war. We will completely destroy our economy doing it. I'm not saying there isn't a time for it, and that time may be coming soon, and if it does as a Patriot and a veteran, I will surely fight.
