I've never heard a better definition of a "winter soldier" than this.
I was a sailor then became a soldier after 9/11 and the Iraq invasion. And there were guys that left after that. They were all "I'm out". I couldn't believe it. I literally joined because of what was happening and you had these guys bailing out.
