It's becoming the Hollywood of the South. A lot of movies being made there now. That's drawing in all kinds of people from CA. Just like northern VA has become the Silicon Valley of the East, with all of the data centers and tech companies. Once again, lots of CA transplants, plus all of the DC workers has turned VA blue. GA is going the same way, just isn't there yet.

It's a Republic. And we respect law and order, not lies and fraud.

Apparently Stacy Abrams called GA for Stacy Abrams. ¡Jeb! campaign issuing a guac challenge to this.

While I can certainly appreciate skepticism towards such language, considering how hard the government constantly fails to hold itself accountable, it's also a fact of life that they have to say things like that. I'd also point out that any evidence collected right now will just be tossed into a lawsuit anyways. The Trump campaign isn't going to ignore something like this.

Not hubris, just a clear-eyed assessment of the situation.

No revolution has even been caused by solely external factors. Chaos sure. Damage to a nation or its institutions, absolutely. But not a revolution.

Look, there's a lot of extreme fears being shared by some, especially today, as well as plenty of people who just think everything will be fine no matter what happens. The truth is somewhere in the middle. And it is that way because we are still a very strong nation, and especially stronger for having 4 years of Trump as our president.

A LOT more people are awake to things than were before Trump. For the first time I can think of, the vast majority of people who voted one way are politically aware (Trump supporters), while the other way seem to be mostly those who are not. This represents a major shift in public consciousness. That is very much in favor for the ongoing future of this country, even should the Left try to destroy it.

Anyone know what is taking so much time in AZ?

11
Keln 11 points ago +11 / -0

Ok, but it's not possible in a stable nation like the US. It only works in a nation with a lot of underlying problems already. Not even the American Revolution would have got anywhere without solid underlying reasons that most colonists understood and felt.

Absolutely. I've known you bastards long enough to know that there is a solid chunk of you that get easily frustrated and pessimistic. Which is completely understandable, but y'all gotta be more high energy. How many times have we had "this is the end of Drumpf" moments? I've lost count. It's just part and parcel of a Trump presidency.

The Left and the Swamp just will never give up, no matter how many times they lose. It's sad really, but we keep winning. And we will keep winning. Patience, optimism, and have a little faith!

That's the obvious play here, but once again it will bite them in the ass.

First, Trump doesn't care and neither do we. He'll do what he needs to do no matter what they scream.

Second, by playing these games I think they've pissed him off. And I don't think he is going to only challenge a few states to ensure victory. I think he might send lawyers crawling all over the country looking for fraud. There is a certain tipping point where if enough fraud has to come up in the courts, the public will get the hint that the Dems cheated and were the ones who tried to steal it.

Y'all need to calm down a bit. If the Democrats had won, even by the slimmest of margins, we would not dealing with all of this right now. Trump won. The Democrats are playing games and the media is complicit in it. But the media are not a legal "official" when it comes to who wins what, and the Constitution assigns the duty of election laws to the State legislatures.

A governor or a state AG cannot change the rules at the last minute without the legislature passing a law changing it (which didn't happen in PA, for instance). This will likely have to go through challenges, but it seems relatively certain Trump will win after all is said and done.

The only way I would have been worried is if Biden was called the projected winner lastnight, and that didn't happen or even come close to happening. The fact updated numbers basically froze in place when it looked like Trump was about to get it tells me he did get it.

He has every reason to fight. If the Democrats had actually won this, even by a tiny bit, they would have called it all that way and we wouldn't be in the middle of slow-walking the count in key states they need to win.

In other words, Trump won. They can either give it up now or lose in the courts.

Twitter and the rest can go get bent. The media doesn't have any official capacity to "call" a state any more or less than a campaign does. The only thing that counts is the final tally after all challenges and the votes of the electors.

Fox has retracted Arizona call for Biden. Back to undecided.

As I said it should be an hour ago...

Keln 18 points ago +18 / -0

Rhode Island should not have been called. It still looks in play.

1
Keln 1 point ago +1 / -0

More than they can manufacture. They would need to stuff like half a million ballots. Not going to happen.

1
Keln 1 point ago +1 / -0

Last I saw that burst pipe thing only effects a few thousand voters.

2
Keln 2 points ago +2 / -0

It still is. Are you seeing something new?

2
Keln 2 points ago +2 / -0

Trend is completely in Trump's favor. Half a million vote lead with half the vote in. 41% of Philly already in. Biden would need a total break for D from Philly with pretty much no Trump votes at all to have a chance.

And that is extremely unlikely, and also discounts the rest of PA, which is mostly red. It's not even within the realm of cheating to get it at this point.

Keln 1 point ago +1 / -0

The counties reporting do not hold up for a call. Mostly blue areas reporting. The red areas are very underrepresented in this so far. 200,000 vote deficit for Trump, with some half a million or so votes outstanding in red areas. We'll see.

2
Keln 2 points ago +2 / -0

Decision desk. The numbers are pretty obvious in that direction though.Trump +8 with 94% reporting. 450,000 vote lead.

7
Keln 7 points ago +7 / -0

Very good. It's all red areas.

Keln 13 points ago +13 / -0

Crowder is correct. Looking at the Arizona counties, it is a premature call. I'm not sure why they called that at the NYP.
