You have denied your fellow pedes in sharing your glorious high energy for 4 years?

Come on man!

Glad you're here.

There is a zero chance KY goes for Biden. Probably returns from Jefferson county hit first.

Thank God I didn't have to focus on work much today. I had two quick jobs this morning at different sites and was back to my hotel room by lunch.

And yes I voted (Saturday) before I left home.

Yeah exactly. That's my problem with assuming anything is actual fuckery. This is the biggest election ever, and things have shifted further to the internet than ever before. You'd have to expect a lot of sites having problems tonight.

Eh, that might have been true 20 years ago or so, but these are baby boomers. Their parents did all that. These people were among the hippies and the first wave of leftist activism in the 1960s.

I'm guessing a turnout like this is indicative of them breaking for Trump though.

I learned last election to never watch Fox again for election night. Total losers.

The major global corporations do, as it kills off competition and maintains their monopolies. But most corporations are not a fan of taxes and regulations.

Yes of course. I wasn't saying it isn't an indicator. I was pointing out how big an indicator it is with a popular turn of phrase.

Yeah we gotta completely demoralize the Left this time. Break their toys like "muh popular vote" and "it was stolen.

No close calls. Absolutely pound home the idea that they were thoroughly rejected and that the American people support Trump overwhelmingly.

It's the only way to avoid 4 more years of manufactured "controversy". They'll still throw a temper tantrum, but when the rest of America sees how hard we went for Trump, the Left will lose all power to complain.

Yeah this is pretty crazy. The winds yesterday were incredible on the drive from DC to central OH. It was like God was blowing every cloud out to the Atlantic.

If that isn't an indicator, I don't know what is.

We're on the same page here. Good comment.

I like watching them at home but I'm in a hotel with a firestick and they cost 5 bucks on their app.

All of this preliminary data coming in is really making me even more confident in a yuge landslide for Trump.

It's extremely difficult to ignore the combination of great policy, a terrible opponent, an unprecedented level of crowds and support, and a consistent addition of supporters from all demographics over the past couple of years.

Yes I know they will cheat here and there, but cheating only goes so far. I think we are overwhelming them, and will continue to do so. I feel silly telling people to vote, because I know everyone is, but I want the popular vote and I think we can get it this time.

I'll admit, when it comes to fast food, I do like Arby's.

I like him in small doses. He can be a bit juvenile sometimes though. Just personal preference.

The Amish don't see technology as inherently evil, and they use it when and where it makes sense within the context of their faith.

What they are cautious about is where technology unnecessarily makes things easier, because they believe hard work builds character and an over reliance on technology leads to being lazy and enslaved to gadgets.

They use cars or buses or even airplanes for long trips, phones for maintaining contact between Ordnungs, even bank accounts and card machines in their stores. It's case by case and generally the community shares such gadgets.

The thing with Roman Emperors is they never had legal authority to be emperors in the first place, not under Roman Law. So they really couldn't just assume succession per se. That is why they sought out well trained youth to take their place, and eventually the Praetorian Guard was able to take so much power and choose emperors.

Under Roman law a dictator was only supposed to be in place for a limited time (5 years I think) and only for two terms total ever. The Emperors were an abomination to Roman law. So there is no way they could just say "my firstborn son will be emperor".

It was like hundreds of years of flaunting the law to begin with. They couldn't really establish a monarchical rule.

Well I dunno if it actually inspired gunships, I just think it was the first time in history that gunpowder powered artillery was ever used from above. I'd assume that had to inspire further ideas of gunfire from the sky, and the AC-130 is the pinnacle of that right now. Who knows.

And yes, inherited monarchies absolutely held Europe back. Usually it's about the 2nd generation the morons start coming to power. It's a major case against monarchies and actually did come up in the the question of whether the United States would have a king. I know it is a popular idea that they wanted Washington to be the king of the US, but it was only barely considered. They knew monarchies don't work, and so abandoned the idea pretty quickly, especially because of the generational problem with monarchies.
