I'm glad you understood what I am getting at. Yeah some of our fellow pedes may not grasp everything going on, but they are family and I love them. And I know they would have my back if I needed them, as I would have theirs. A downvote is really nothing.
I don't normally pimp my own posts, but I think you would appreciate this video I just posted and I would love to see your comments on it.

You might ask "Keln, what does this have to do with us?".
I would say, most of the historical myths this guy debunks are the entire basis for Leftist ideology. It's always good to have knowledge on your side, and after watching this, I felt it was something we all should look at. Just at a minimum it destroys the whole "1619 Project" and the entire basis for Marxism.
In the Trump Townhall, I saw a "moderator" continually interrupting the conversation between President Trump and the person getting to ask him a question.
In the Biden Townhall, I never saw an interruption like that. I saw a "here's what you meant to say" and Joe would run with it and talk to the person asking him the question as if it was a team effort.
What voters will see, is that any time President Trump would respond to someone, the planted media person would eventually interrupt and completely disrespect the voter. And when Biden talks, he has everyone on his side at all times to help him get through it.
It was blatant. I think the President did very well, but I really wish he had taken that woman to task at least once and told her to stop disrespecting the conversation he was having with a voter.
I will say, at least this time, I did not see much evidence of fakery among the townhall participants, with the exception of the "you have a beautiful smile" lady, who I think was the only actual plant.
The "Trump curse" is a fun way to look at it, but in reality all of these people bring it on themselves through lying and unethical, often criminal behavior.
The ones who are either too sloppy or too unimportant to protect get caught and reap the consequences of their own actions.
If Trump has anything to do with it, it's that he drives these people crazy enough to reveal who they really are.
I was a bit skeptical at first when she mentioned how a ruling against her own kid makes her feel, but she did a damn good job of explaining how that's a test she uses to eliminate bias from her rulings and arguments, not a guide that puts her biases into it.
She's really impressive.
I wouldn't make too much of this. There has been a whole power battle at the Tribune over the past couple of years. I'd love to think Chicago wants Trump, but I haven't been there in years and the Tribune is in the middle of a tiff right now.
I have been doing MAGA since mid 2000's, before Trump came along. I was what I considered back then a "Brietbarter".
There were a lot of us, writing all of the early blogs, saying the same stuff that we all are now, but back then everyone thought we are just kooks.
Then Donal Trump came along and took us mainstream baby.
And we can finally take this nation back. We can finally bring wealth, security, and prosperity to all of our people.
Feels good man. Feels real good.
Spez: I just want to say, thinking on it, the message we were pushing back then was just patriotism. Some of us were vets, like me, but really it was about a love for our country.
Not a flag or an "idea" or something like that. Love for country means people. All of the people. Even that weird Mexican dude at the gas station, or the chick you swear has three breasts and might be pregnant at the WalMart.
Man it doesn't matter. Doesn't matter what they look like or where they came from, it's your family. And you can't choose and pick your family. But they still your family.
So you fight for them. That is just what you do. Our American family is the best family anywhere, and bitch you better back off if you come at us.
Why I am a Christian specifically is not discussed in this post I made lastnight. And the reasons you give are not good enough in my opinion to be a Christian specifically.
But there are very good reasons to be a Christian specifically. Maybe I will make a post about it sometime, but if you feel conviction to be a follower of Christ already, I feel no need to convince you brother.
Considering I own many and was in two branches in the military, I guess it's too late for your hopes.
The basic concept of self-defense is pretty easy to explain, but you are too blinded by your desire to be political, so you aren't seeing the bigger picture here at all.
If I am armed and you attack me, I will shoot you. I don't care what weapon you use. Me personally? I will give you a verbal warning. But after that, you're on your own.
And we have had MORE THAN ENOUGH examples of that posted here showing a patriot who is armed being assaulted who has to at least brandish a firearm. And the Zimmerman case alone should tell you that you are wrong.
If I am armed, I am not going to let any punk even trip me in such a situation and give them the opportunity to disarm me and shoot me with my own weapon.
If you cannot understand anything I am saying to you, then you are an idiot, and frankly, it is you that I worry about handling a firearm. But unlike you, I am not here to tell everyone to take away your rights to a firearm.
Considering that Christianity was the reason Slavery was banned for the first time in any society ever in the history of the world...yeah I don't think so.
Christianity dealt with slavery. It did not approve of it. In the time the texts were written, slavery was very common, and in many cases it was the Christians that were the slaves. Most verses on slavery were from the Old Testament, which comes from the Jewish Talmud, but even then usually assumed the slave would be a Jew.
That was life in the ancient world, and it obviously had to be addressed.
At no point in the New Testament does any passage say "go make slaves of people". It simply doesn't. Christianity does not accept slavery and never has. And in fact the arguments against slavery even up to the 19th century in America, were that it is unchristian, if you follow what Jesus actually said. That was what gave birth to the abolitionist groups.
Even the singular concept of "Individualims" came from Christianity. Before the Christian faith that concept had no meaning and was practiced nowhere.
Your argument is lame. Very lame.
I found it grotesque in the extreme that you were downvoted and so I upvoted you. Not that I agree with you which I will make pretty clear soon, but I really hate this whole voting comments thing. How are we to have a clash of ideas if some ideas are sunk by voting? I don't care what the sheep think.
I'm not even going to respond to the fact that your answer to my question of "how do you have any say over me?" was a link to a monk stating the concept of Natural Law. Where do you think Thomas of Aquinas got that concept?
And your link to the Golden Rule "he who has the gold makes the rules" only solidifies my case here. If I am in charge, by sword or by gold, you have no say or anything and I can do what I want. Morality has no place here.
I'd also point out that many societies attempted to operate on these foundation, of no gods to tell them what to do, and they were brutal, and destructive.
I'll borrow from your second response post to me, since I am responding to both here, that "er mer gerd, you must be weak and ignorant, so you need religion". No you dimwit. I left religion behind at the same point I was learning about nuclear physics. I thought I was too smart for stuff, so I just left it behind. The Universe was expanding before our eyes, answers were science-based, I didn't need a god to tell me how anything worked. I was ready to be one of the enlightened ones.
The philosophy came later, something you still have not answered for, because I suspect you are still in that neophyte stage I was in a long time ago. Just so you know, I am in my 40s now. It took me a while to come to all of these conclusions, so it's not like I just made this all up overnight.
Going back to the original question..."Why do you have any right over me or to tell me what to do if I have more power than you do?".
I mean, in an accidental universe based on the concept that all life is just chemical reactions and otherwise has no meaning, it's true. If I can gain enough power to tell you to pack sand or just eliminate you, then you really cannot tell me what I can or cannot do.
So why has society worked so hard for thousands of years to do just that? Yes of course, because without such "morality", societies fall apart. Pat yourself on the back for answering the question and then answer the next one: "so what?".
Honestly, what is even the point of a society existing and finding out anything at all if any society will only be a blip in time on universal scales? What's the point?
That you cannot answer. And never can answer.
That leads into your next question, which I have already partially answered. It takes a weak-minded person to just accept what they are told or accept and not explore it further. I do not think there is an atheist alive that has not explored their atheism further to find the black nothingness that is the end result of their belief.
And yes, it is a belief. Atheism is absolutely a belief. You may not like that, pity to you, but it is true. If we are talking about what is scientifically observable and testable, then both Atheism and any form of Theism are equally probable. They cannot be tested.
I won't get into the "perfect universe problem" or any of that right now, but I will say that things like the ridiculous Multiverse Theory are attempts by very atheist scientists to explain away things they can't explain using natural observations.
Fairies, gods, Christianity, Atheism, Islam, and String Theory all belong to the same realm, I am sorry to tell you. Well not actually sorry to tell you. But I must assume you will be quite sad learning it.
If you believe you are somehow smarter than me, then let me know what energy is required to push a proton and a neutron together. It's a trick question. And yes I know the answer.
Let your superior mind tell us the answer so that we can bow at your feet and worship you as our next new god, oh Italians_Invented_2A the magnificient! Because we are all so stupid and uneducated and weak-minded we need God to fill the gaps in our understanding!
My Mandarin is pretty lousy, but I think what he was saying sort of matched the subtitles.
But I said "holy shit" at least half a dozen times through this. Giant nuclear bombs in this video. The problem, as you pointed out is what is the evidence.
I mean, he is speaking to everything a lot of us suspected, but we really need evidence.
