Hawai'i has only ever been a solid Democrat state because almost nobody votes and the only real party there is the Democrat party. Republicans simply don't bother to support a party there.
If you can actually get Hawaiians to vote, they would likely not vote along any party lines, just for whoever did the best by them at the time. They have long memories, a natural hatred of politics, and deep loyalty for anyone who is a friend to them.
If they are showing up to rally and vote, it means Trump's policies have had a major effect on their lives, which is rare. Normally whoever the nation puts in Washington doesn't matter one way or another to the lives of most Hawaiians. And likewise, the political parties don't care about Hawaiians.
Depending on what particles they're talking about, viruses are pretty big in comparison.
But even an N95 has to be sized correctly and routinely changed out to be effective.
The cloth mask thing is ridiculous and they know it.
Absolutely one of his best quotes. As true as it is, there have been few laureates that deserved the Nobel as much as President Trump. And not really because of the peace deals, since peace deals don't always hold up. He really deserves it for ending the US policy of military adventures and conflict for profit.
A second, important reason is how he has basically forced China to postpone a lot of their plans in southeast Asia. Supposedly, 2020 was to be the year China would flex its military power in the region and effectively take over the South China Sea. That could have led to war.
Part of this entire "MAGA" movement is a cultural war, not just an ideological war. And it is a war between Western Civilization, of which the United States is its peak achievement, and anti-western forces globally.
Remembering sacrifices made by the West in its past struggles against these insane, evil ideologies and attempts to destroy and redefine culture helps us remember what we are fighting for, and what we are fighting against.
The more research comes out, the more it becomes apparent that almost all treatments for viral infections have positive results depending on stage of infection, and that viral load transmission is minimal as is infection in most people with even halfass immune systems.
Doesn't really sound like a deadly pandemic.
You have Democrats literally letting leftist nutjobs burn down city blocks and the media calling it peaceful protests, statues of abolitionists being torn down and the media calling it social justice, every sports team taking knees and changing names, anyone spouting wrongthink being silenced and cancelled, while a political party runs a geriatric joke of a candidate, and you expect the Department of Justice to intervene during this, fantasizing that suddenly everyone will go along with it.
I'm glad President Trump is not a politician. But I'm also glad he has more political sense than a lot of you guys. Don't be purposely obtuse about how things actually work just because you're frustrated. You don't think we are all frustrated? You don't think Trump is too?
There is a way to do things and do good for 3 quarters and lose. And then there's a way to do things and win the game. Don't be blind.
Frankly, the US Postal Service is a prime example of why public unions must be abolished.
I'm not saying most or even many Postal workers are untrustworthy. But even a few within a unionized system is danger enough to such a sacrosanct system as elections.
I'm still waiting for someone besides Donald Trump to go after one of these brainless twits and ask them when it became the concern of a national leader to consider anything other than what is good for their nation.
I know Canajuns love to say they're sorry, but they need to learn the "not sorry" part that comes next.
I meant to bring this up during the RNC, but was too busy enjoying the only political convention anyone will ever enjoy.
But in the past the GOP has been careful around election time when it comes to the issue of abortion, yet they didn't hold back this time.
There is a good reason for that. For nearly 20 years the low-key polling on the issue has swung against abortion. People don't like it, especially in an age with a hundred versions of birth control.
Abortion as a practice was never popular. Its legalization was clearly separate from that in the public consciousness.
With the advent of morning after pills and the exposure of the gruesome reality of abortion, the public support for even full legalization has waned...and it is primarily women who have shifted.
The GOP feels confident enough now to run on it as an issue and the President is going with it. It will not be a defining issue either way and it can now finally be challenged.
They don't get away with it.
They have no trust anymore from anyone that hasn't already decided to believe what they want to hear regardless of facts.
Media is suffering from a widespread credibility problem of their own making.
It may not land any of them in prison but it will ultimately destroy them.
Is it me or does the RSBN guy sound like Trey Parker a bit.
