I rarely downvote, but when I do, it's because someone is being a jerk or is a shill. And the shills get the deport button too.

To be fair, besides Tucker, you have Watters, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Guttfeld and some others who also speak truth.

While Fox News has allowed some pretty bad people to join the network lately, and have been going along with some of the fake news narratives, FNC does still give nearly all of its opinion air time to some pretty based, smart, and competent people.

I'd say FNC allows Tucker to do what he wants because he brings in serious cash, but that doesn't explain the others being allowed free reign, who aren't killing it with ratings per se.

My point is, Tucker has a platform. No other news network other than OAN and Newsmax give platforms to people like Tucker, and OAN and Newsmax can't afford people of his caliber.

So I have to grudgingly hand it to FNC for keeping guys like him on the air and not interfering too often.

That's a lame thing to say. As if all cops are the same.

There are plenty of good police departments in this country. They aren't all like Portland.

The movie trolls the left hard. I don't know why anyone still thinks it was a hate film.

It's not like I don't feel that way too.

But feelings and facts are rarely on the same side.

I hate to be "that guy" to point this out, but moving the military in is precisely the goal of all of this.

They want their "Tienanmen Square" photo. They've called Trump a dictator since before he was elected, hoping he would act like one. None of this stuff going on is organic. It is done for a reason. And this is the reason. They want Trump to act and crush it and the media uses it as "Trump is a Dictator" fodder for the next two months.

That's the whole plan. And yes, that sort of thing can flip elections. No matter how crazy the Left is looking right now, bombarding the public with images of "Trump using the military against protesters" is a potent move.

What Trump has been doing is working. Let the Left continue to alienate voters with their violence, and don't take the bait. The blood is not on Trump's hands. It is on the hands of every Democrat politician enabling this.

Everything to the right of whatever communist insanity they come up with is "far right".

Democrats who are voting Trump because their party lost its mind are considered "far right" now.

Think of the label "far right" as just a tag telling you all you need to know about the person using it.

One, it's not a question of cajones, it's one of legality.

Two, "deputize all Americans" is idiotic. It's basically reestablishing mob justice, like the lynch mobs of the Old West that would hang the innocent and guilty alike.

Law and Order. We are a nation of Law and Order.

With that said, all people on this planet have a God-given right to protect themselves, their family, their neighbors, and their property. In the United States, these rights are protected by our Constitution. We do not need deputy powers to exercise these rights, regardless of local unconstitutional laws that say otherwise.

Be prepared to defend yourself in these situations. Don't seek trouble, but don't back down if it finds you. Leave the actual policing to the police. If they fail or refuse, then you have every right to to band with friends and neighbors to protect your neighborhood. No "deputizing" necessary. We don't need permission to exercise rights given to us by God. No person or government outranks the Creator.

Yeah that chasing a guy with a gun part is what really confused me. I can see one idiot trying that, but after literally shooting the guy, it was like a scramble of idiots wanting to also get shot.

Normally, when someone draws a weapon, people back off. It's worked quite a few times in these situations in the past. There must have been a special class of stupids in Kenosha that night.

It's been pretty well established that FDR wanted the US to enter the war, so I wouldn't consider his diplomacy towards Japan as incompetent. It was on purpose and it worked.

A better leader would make a strong case for entering instead of waiting for a Pearl Harbor to happen. It was getting pretty obvious by that point that the US would have to cross swords with Japan eventually, and that the war in Europe would drag us in as well.

His real failure was letting Japan make the first move.

One of the comments under that tweet "Give him a break, asking him questions about his son and he probably hasn't met him yet".

oof

Well, what has also become obvious to many, thanks to Trump, is that neither party has really been implementing policies that are good for Americans for decades.

It really kind of makes party affiliations irrelevant when you have a guy like Trump in office.

You're missing my point. Otherwise by your argument Communism works because it is a thing.

Globalism depends on breaking down borders. The reality is that it doesn't work. Sure it has success, but only as long as a nation can support that.

You don't compromise with Globalism because it is not reality. You compromise with small things while following a greater ideal.

Make no mistake, there is an objective reality, and it always wins.

Pragmatism is catering to reality. It ends there. Globalism doesn't operate in the confines of reality.

That's just what I said about pragmatism using different words.

While I appreciate the patriotism on here, I really am saddened by the lack of civics taught in our schools now.

The President can only pardon federal crimes.

Keln 1 point ago +1 / -0

Haven't seen this yet on TD. The President gave a full pardon to Alice Johnson.

When we reestablish the America that's supposed to be, these attackers will have to learn how to sink or swim based on their own merits.

If we lose and they win, they'll have to learn how to survive in a gulag or maybe not live at all.

Either way, they won't have much time for jerking off.

It sounds to me like the problem is their problem. No reason for it to affect you. Be a happy warrior.

Lol I watched the interview with her and Rand tonight on fnc, and I immediately felt for Rand. She totally sounded like my wife. No diplomacy, no measured words, just raw emotion. She was pissed.
