Well finding out you were wrong about a lot of things you considered pretty core to your identity can't be fun.

But the feeling of liberation that eventually comes with it will turn that frown upside down.

Right?

I was already going to buy an AR-15. But I'm gonna buy an AR-16, 17, 18, and a trained eagle now.

Obviously I was half-serious. Lots of great things came out of Germany and Austria and whatever we call them now (those names didn't exist for most of history).

But those nuts went from being rather caveman like to being philosophers and musicians in a very short amount of time, and that is...concerning. I blame aliens.

Gains are taxed. If you lose or break even, you're fine.

Different tax rates for gains, depending on time. Long term gains are taxed roughly half the rate.

It really is BS that investing gets taxed. It kind of chokes investing by normies and keeps investing in the realm of the "professionals".

Why is it, that most of the problems in our world, dating back to the middle of the first millennia, came from Germanic people?

I support UBI. As long as it replaces any and all forms of welfare.

Because it would be cheaper.

I paid over $4200 last year to the IRS. Worst was when I owed over $8k.

All because my stocks did well, I sold them, and lived off of them until I could find a job. The fact I was living off of investments instead of taking fucking welfare cost me money.

Clearly, the "safety net" is not for those of us who keep their shit together.

Well, after that rant at the end, there is no question to me that Tim has swallowed the red pill finally. Yeah, he wants to keep saying he is a "liberal", but at this point, it's just something he says to maintain "internet cred".

Once you've seen the light, it's impossible to be blind again.

Yeah. I believe there is an element of truth to this image.

In no way would President Trump regret or be unwilling to do the job. But there has to have been a moment where he contemplated what he was getting into.

It's abbreviation is ED (kek).

It's job isn't oversight or control of public education, which is a state by state thing. When it comes to that the department is more of a aggregator of education statistics.

It's primary role is in the administration of federal grants and loans for secondary education.

What teachers do isn't really under their purview.

Yeah. Does anyone seriously think Russia, China, and Iran like President Trump?

I mean come on. I'll accept ignorant people thinking Russia likes him because they were duped with the whole Russiagate crap, but there's no excuse to believe China or Iran wants him to win.

Yes, but the air traffic controllers weren't legally allowed to strike in the first place, nor can any emergency personnel or those who work in strategic infrastructure, like ports, airports, or shipping.

Teachers don't really fall into that category, so I'm not sure what President Trump could do about it.

Well, it's illegal to hack a website or an account. So yeah, it does have a lot to do with law and order.

Right and wrong aren't concepts that are fluid based on the target of an action.

Keln 5 points ago +5 / -0

Well I don't think it will happen at all, but that doesn't stop evil people from attempting to cause it.

31
Keln 31 points ago +31 / -0

Yep. Classic monopolistic actions.

It's time to start trust busting again.

The way it always works, the first two will be from the media. They never take actual questions from the public. See any CNN "townhall" ever.

It's entirely possible "they" want a bloody insurrection. The chaos caused by civil conflict presents plenty of opportunities to those who want to usurp power.

Keln 5 points ago +12 / -7

Eh, I don't like it. It's not going to win any converts and it isn't good optics for the "party" of law and order.

Yeah. I was checking in earlier to see the latest about whether the season is going forward or not and most there are all "iTs iRReSpoNSiBle to mAke DeM kIDs PlAy!!11".

I prefer my college ball without the politics.

Yeah I don't get it. Ohio went hard for Trump in 2016, even with that idiot governor we had (Kasich the never-trumper). By the time I left Ohio, it seemed like everyone hated Kasich, then they turn around and elect that milquetoast DeWine.

Ohio really needs a good governor.

Yep. The president mentioned the newest numbers would be good on Lou Dobbs earlier this week. He was right.

I love how every time he does that the media rolls out their economic "experts" to tell everyone the President is wrong, the numbers will be bad, we should all be worried, etc. And every time they are wrong.

We like to assign nefarious organizational attributes to evil whether or not it exists. The reality is that evil people are enemies of each other as much as they are enemies of us. Incompetence is baked into the evil pie. Too much selfishness to even contemplate true organization.
