Frankly, I hate to say this, but I think it is more that they are so frothing at the mouth insane about it that they cannot coordinate a viable assassination attempt.

The Secret Service knows, if an entity with enough power and expendable wealth wanted a president dead, they could do it. These people are just insane about him at this point, and it really proves what I have been saying for a long time that there is no true conspiracy. There are too many chefs in the kitchen, all with their own agendas, they do not work together well.

Yeah I heard all of the same stuff in 2016.

Suppressing speech is not the same as suppressing thought. You might think that the term "silent majority" is an overused cliche at this point, but cold hard facts prove it correct time and again, and 2016 is just the latest example.

I get around a lot, I have to travel for my job, and I come into contact with people all over these great United States. And I hear the same wherever I go, even when I was in NYC last...after a bit of dancing around the issues, to see if who they are talking to is not some SJW woke crazy person, they'll spill their guts about how the left is insane.

Most people won't tell you that until they build some trust in you. So they stay silent. Nobody wants their car keyed, lose their job, get called a racist, or have ANTIFA outside their house just because of their opinion.

It makes people feel like they are in the minority. That is the point...to discourage you. The fact is, we are in the majority. We proved this already. No need to have to prove it again other than to simply vote for Trump again.

There is no amount of ballot chicanery that can stop it. Delay, cause chaos, etc...sure. But stop it? No. They won't get rid of Trump until January 2025.

While I do not believe there is a "late candidate" strategy here, I'd also point out that a vote for Biden would likely be counted as a vote for his replacement, if he were to die or withdraw for medical reasons.

This has sort of precedence. Greely in 1872 lost the election, but his electoral votes were cast even though he died. It is presumed had he won, the party could have picked a replacement before the electoral votes were cast (once they are cast, the vice presidential pick becomes President-elect).

Key being, the party can at least attempt to nominate someone else and the electors can choose the new nominee in Biden's stead, regardless of who was actually on the ballot, as the only votes that count, constitutionally, are the electors.

Of course, that would likely send a bunch of cases to SCOTUS. And also, a late change like that would undoubtedly seal the deal for a Democrat loss in any case.

As far as 4chan stuff goes, this whole line is at least kinda plausible.

The only problem is, there is no way to win with a last minute option like described here. It doesn't work.

So I'll stick to my theory that Biden is the candidate because they know it's a loss either way and don't want to waste a "good" candidate.

Their sights are on 2024. By "they" I mean the stiff collared types in the bowels of the party and in Washington.

The DNC itself is headed off a cliff, and by 2024, it might not matter what their plans were.

Well he did that when he won the election.

He destroyed the entire globalist scheme in his first year in office, probably costing untold TRILLIONS in potential future revenue, as well as real power that these people were all in for.

His building the wall (which he is doing haters), as well as crack downs, with the help of Mexico to frustrate Cartels and prevent the trafficking of people and drugs across our border has cost the worst criminals in the world BILLIONS.

And the untold billions or possibly trillions he has cost every other sad sack individual, organization, or nation all over the world who were engaged in multiple scams and schemes against us.

There is every reason most of the powerful and wealthy people in this world want him dead, and have for a long time.

Texans have no room to talk with a city like Austin among their midst.

The attitude should be for all of us to "take it back".

As many around the world care about what happens in the USA, we should care about what happens in NYC.

It is the center of our economy. It has played an important role since we first split from the British, and why the British took it first. And it has been the single biggest breeding ground for ideas, good and bad, for our nation.

Not to mention, it is one of the few massive cities (and is the biggest) to actually vote in Republican a mayor in recent times (Guilliani, then the turncoat Bloomberg). NYC isn't as monolithic Democrat as so many other cities are.

Sure, you get what you vote for, but there are millions of good Americans in that city who did not vote for that. And if NYC falls, every major city will be next. If they can bring our greatest city down, they can bring them all down.

Detroit was a shining example of capitalism once. And its fall sent shockwaves throughout our nation's industries. That should be enough to show you what happens when a great city falls.

I don't personally like NYC. I do not understand why anyone would want to live in miles of concrete like that, congested with people constantly. It would make me want to run for the nearest forest for a while. But there is no question NYC is especially American, and our most important city. Just like I refuse to let the Left take a square inch of California from us, I refuse to let them take NYC.

Anyone claiming to be Antifa should be taken seriously, rounded up and thrown into holding to await trial for being a terrorist.

The very same people who screamed that "all Muslims aren't terrorists" are now trying to say Antifa isn't a terrorist organization like "an Islamic terrorist or something".

Words have meaning and so does the law.

Terrorist: NOUN

a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

ADJECTIVE

unlawfully using violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

There is no question Antifa are terrorists, by its very definition. You can add BLM to that as well. Their aims are entirely political, and their methods completely within the scope of violence and intimidation.

Not that I put much stock in any "breaking news" from the Gateway Pundit, who has many times been wrong, it's entirely possible a lot of small fish have been interviewed during the course of this thing, but it's not like there would be any news about it.

It's because the typical leftist is a self-centered narcissist who lives in a fantasy world of their own making. When they think up the questions and the gotchas and their "witty" quips, they've already fantasized the entire conversation in their mind, already congratulating themselves on how smart they are.

Then when they have the actual conversation or interview and it doesn't go as planned, they assume the other person did something wrong. The other person is stupid. How could the other people not see things so clearly as them? How dare the other person challenge them?

Yugoslavian?

Spez: I wasn't able to watch the video earlier, but now I understand why she is labeling herself as "Yugoslavian". She was Yugoslavian, before it got torn apart, although she had to have been a little kid back then at most.

Obviously, there are some pretty strong messages in this video, and there is no doubt her warnings should be heeded. But there were a lot of things specific to Yugoslavia that made its civil war possible.

For one thing, there were preexisting cultural divides in the country, and they were geographic. That doesn't exist in the US, where there is no clear geographical lines for religion, race, primary culture, or even politics. And while I am sure her generation, and perhaps future generations might have thought of Yugoslavia as "one nation under God" eventually, there were clearly fractures in that image for the Marxists to drive wedges into. Even the National Socialists in Germany couldn't create divides out of thin air. They already existed, and there was already a lot of anger to work with following WWI.

While no nation is immune to destruction from within, not even the US, it would take a LOT more than the current chaos to cause what she describes. It would also take a much higher degree of faith in our national media for people to buy what they are selling, not the historically low trust it "enjoys" now.

Frankly, the current chaos is not some sinister plot to cause a civil war. It is the political equivalent of a temper tantrum. It is the shuddering death rattles of a dying strategy to destroy the Republic slowly from within and replace it with some Marxist concept.

When President Trump was elected, the jig was up. Decades and decades of work by the Left was undone. The public proved it was entirely resistant to its schemes, no matter what many victories the Left had over the years.

Ours is not a nation of the Old World, with its many anachronisms and deep-seated loyalties to family or town names or square mile pieces of land. Where living under the yoke of this or that flavor of tyranny has been known and generally accepted.

This is the New World, and the United States is a new country, unlike any nation before or since its founding. We're stubborn, and sometimes far too receptive of wolves bringing "new ideas". But we always lash back like a cord drawn too tight. The Left found that out in 2016, and they're reeling from it.

Never let your guard down, and keep in mind the warnings of a video like this. But don't despair either. We're built of tougher stuff than others, because we've made ourselves that way over generations.

NY AG? I wouldn't bet on it. Probably announcing an investigation of the president or some other ridiculous political chicanery.

4
Keln 4 points ago +4 / -0

It doesn't. It's the sort of thing that only appeals to a small group of people. The vast majority of Americans in every poll I've seen about it, are completely against this idea of open borders and welfare for illegals. It's one of the core reasons President Trump won.

For some strange reason, the left has doubled down on this insane message instead of doing the politically smart thing and toning it down.

Literally the only chance Joe Biden or a similar candidate could have at defeating Trump is to not be Trump but also sound rational and somewhat moderate.

But then, I really don't think they had any intention of trying to win.

In any organization, there are good people, bad people, and those who are indifferent. The majority are the indifferent, and they are the reason why bad people can get away with things.

Even at CNN, there are bound to be some good people, but there are likely far too many who choose to be indifferent and allow things to go on as they are, allowing all of the bad eggs to stink everything up.

All it takes to make change is just enough good people who choose to do so in the right positions. It could be that is what is happening at Fox now. Or, this could be nothing more than what they view as a lucrative news cycle and don't actually care about any outcomes.

As long as these guys don't figure out how to strap a warehouse on a missile, we're safe.

On the one hand, your comment is factually correct. Mars is a dead planet, and its lack of a magnetic field is a major reason for that. Space itself is so vast, it's difficult to see how to cross the voids between stars even if we find habitable planets within 20-30 light years from us. It's definitely not something within our reach right now to be a true spacefaring civilization.

But of course that all negates future technological advances. It's very hard to imagine what those will be, but we can look at just the last 120 years and see how rapidly they can change humanity. And we simply do not know enough to say what is or isn't possible.

A better understanding of planetary core dynamics could lead to knowledge of how to reignite Mars' magnetic field, for instance, making terraforming a viable option. Breakthroughs in space propulsion and materials science could make generational arks a possibility, or perhaps we will discover that a warp bubble is something we can create in reality, not just with math.

Daunting, seemingly impossible goals should never stop us from reaching for them. On the contrary, it is the fact that they seem impossible that should drive us towards them. It has always been what has seemed impossible that we learn the most from when we make the attempt to prove it.
