I'm not impressed with a failure mindset. Without a meaningful attempt, failure is 100% guaranteed. This is why Trump has got more done in 1 term for the "Republican Agenda" than all other Republicans combined have got done in the last 60 years. He's not afraid of hard work and I do agree it'll be a hard job.
Trump is dealing with the same Congress as everybody else. I don't remember Pelosi giving her blessing to building a wall or his Supreme Court picks.
To be truthful, I'm not a party joiner and try not to get involved in party stuff. I can say that although I mostly vote Republican, I've always noticed a very sharp disconnect between what they say and what they do. Trump is doing exactly what he says he's going to do. If Congress wants any of his earned popularity to rub off on them, they need to earn it, not talk about earning it.
230 shouldn't get removed. Facebook and Twitter just need to lose the protection it provides as they are publishing and exercising editorial control over their members. Legislation could easily be introduced and actually PROMOTED by our side to do just that. They make good money, it's time they started earning it. They can take their frigging hearings and...
Maybe, never the less, the donald is a a forum. Removing 230 makes the mods here accountable for the content of each and every post. Every forum on the internet will either just shut down or be so heavily moderated that it might as well be closed down. Even under a benevolent government there would be endless litigation, under a future administration I can see mods getting sued for things like "hate" speech and cultural insensitivity. Why remove a protection from the innocent? Believe me, I love Trump and I'd also like to see certain tech companies burn in hell. I just think a simple modification of 230 is all that is needed, it's a protection and there needs to be rules attached to qualify for that protection. Also they need to outlaw propaganda on the airwaves in general.
I don't believe section 230 should be removed as neither Facebook or Twitter or impartial open forums that allow free speech. Trump won't be President forever and legislation that removes section 230 put's every ISP and forum on the Internet at risk for being sued for their users content. Talk about killing free speech! This is precisely the kind of legislation the left wants for the long term. Don't touch section 230, just remove its protections from any large corporations that either consistently self censor otherwise socially acceptable, legal comments to promote or disparage a particular social or political agenda or consistently inject their own or third party content to promote or disparage disparage a particular political belief or opinion. My wording may be off for the lawyers but, it's not rocket science and you don't trash a good law just because it's being abused. You just remove the protection the law provides to anyone who abuses the law and the spirit of free speech.
He was a fixer for the Ruby Ridge criminal undertaking. I've never been a fan.
