Readers: This writer betook himself to the Augusta,Maine, Stop the Steal rally in a cold, bleak, grey, windswept afternoon. A circa 1200 hrs there were a dozen people. By 1300hrs we topped out at circa 25 people plus 04 kids and one black dog. The rest had gone to D.C. for the March. BUT they still did the March past the govt. buildings and back to the State Capital for a closing speech.
Also in attendance were some religious sorts, one lady in her 60's with a wooden cross bedecked with plastic flowers, an old plastic doll holding a USA flag & she and three others chanting the Rosary. A few others walking a reciting Pslams, and well intentioned sorts handing out "Jesus Saves at Walmart" [or something like that} flyers. No idea why or wherefore, its a first for me. I thank the gods that I am not a X-tian, these folks behavior bordered on the fringe of mental illness.
Amendment to the Historic Record; the last S.t.S. Rally. In that miserable snow/rain/sleet day that this writer did not attend, there were circa 30 brave souls who DID. And some bloke in a truck, came by with the truck bed full of doughnuts, coffee, cups &tc. for those in attendance. This by a witness to the Event.
And that is something you will never see in a BLM/Antfia rally

Readers; This Day was set for the Usual "S.T.S." rally in Augusta, Maine. However god had other ideas. And it seems god is a Democrat. A nice weather week all week before Saturday, and good weather following. And what do we get for Saturday? Rain, freezing rain, snow, WIND, some more rain and snow.
No one in his sober senses drives in this weather mix UNLESS it is an absolute need to so do- as in work I cannot be certain no one showed up in Augusta;but I KNOW I was not going to travel there in this filthy weather.
It is likely the weather will close down any more Rallys. It is good that the wind up scenes of the Election are being seen. I have no interest in going to 'Avis Rent a Dog sled and team" to get to Augusta in a Maine Winter

I am very pleased I was able to give you the flag company BEFORE you bought a ChiCom made flag! The quality is quite good on the products. I bought the sewn, embroidered Federal Standard from them; the sewing and workmanship is first rate. The Maine Flag I have is screen printed with a sewn Blue star in the canton. Its the only one I have seen made this way--and it shows attention to detail.
