I didn't believe in Q, and I don't believe in David Icke's claims. You can stuff your snark back in your purse.

Anyone else think it sounded like Xavier Becerra? That's the guy PEDOTUS was talking about at the time.

Every good grammar nazi knows not to use "that" like that. <-- You use it like THAT. It's not a fucking adverb, you derelict.

Thank you for proving my point. Yours is not a scientific mind. I accept the theories underlying evolution as a matter of parsimony, not belief. Do not confuse your beliefs with my desire for truth.

I don't think science should be a matter of belief. The paradigm of evolution is reliant upon several prevailing theories regarding geological dating, taxonomy, biodiversity, etc. And prevailing just means they haven't yet been falsified. Several of these theories are based on observations which are themselves theory-laden, since they rely on mechanical instruments and atomic dating techniques which can fail or just be flat out wrong. Falsification in any one of these areas can entirely change the paradigm of evolution. The scientific mind does not believe in evolution; it makes observations which have so far borne out the underlying theories without encountering falsifying observations -- always prepared to accommodate for falsification even at the cost of the whole paradigm.

The form of Marx's argument is flawed from the start. Just look at the labor theory of value. It's easily refuted as a premise. Simply note the value of undeveloped land. Or note how the locksmith who takes an hour to get your van opened up hasn't provided any more value to you than the locksmith who takes ten minutes. Value is in the eye of the beholder, and the beholder varies dramatically - hence the existence of the market.

The power of the state flowing directly from the power of the people has always been a crock of shit. Neither I nor my ancestors were at liberty to steal from others to build a road, so the state's authority to do so logically could not have been derived therefrom.

China is not a kinetic threat to the US off paper. The terrifying reality for them and every other nation is their submarine defense capabilities are generations behind American submarine attack capabilities. They may throw a mighty heavy rocket barrage or two at our Pacific territories, but the damage can be repaired in a matter of weeks. Meanwhile our silent service would be free to disrupt enemy naval movement and cut off commercial shipping. The Chinese would be left to either convince their neighbors to join the war and share their now very finite oil reserves or try squeezing oil from their dead comrades' corpses.

If "The Jews" are doing anything, it's banking on these pathetic, dweeby, AHX skinhead pussies continuing their pity party. The more these faggots cry, the more "The Jews" have to cry about. They're nothing but heels to this Jewspiracy they push.

Your morale crumbles the moment your pea brain confuses a development for a setback. You're acting like a little bitch over fucking nothing, and we're quickly running out of room for sunshine patriots with balls only to chimp right into the enemies' hands.

I'm just saying because you just brought up a constitutional concept in qualifying your use of the deport button. Constitutional liberties can be exercised outside the scope of civics, but they can only be violated within that scope. I don't have to consider the Constitution when I don't let you stay for dinner after you insult my wife, for example.

You're not in court. The Constitution prevents the government from violating your rights. It doesn't prevent people from curating private forums. Most people don't like the ProtocolFags, and the site rules reflect that. Your appeal to the Constitution is entirely external to the issue at hand.

You claim you can't have a nuanced conversation about something because people unfairly reject the nuance therein. Like leftists, they arbitrarily refuse criticism of the individual because of the group. I'm saying the form of the argument you put to these folks necessarily appeals to the same illiberal tendencies which inculcate the arbitrary bigotry through which you currently wade. You're fighting on their terms at that point, and you won't get far. That's all I'm saying -- all without even disagreeing with you.

1
Kinkinnatus 1 point ago +1 / -0

I wouldn't deny that, but don't you see how you are trying to stand on the shoulders of bigots? Excusing your position as being as valid as the wholesale attack on Christianity is hardly validation. In spite of what you mean to point out, it comes across as you relating your line of attack to those coming from self-righteous occidentphobes in an attempt to validate it. That's never gonna work, is my point.

1
Kinkinnatus 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sure you can. It's usually a matter of not feeding the trolls, for a start. If someone takes a policy criticism of Israel and makes it into an attack on Jews, then so be it. People are allowed to be stupid. Ignore them. When you argue back with, "Oh, we can criticize Muslims as a group but not Jews? What's the word for someone who's antisemitic to Christians?", you are practically confirming in many minds how your criticism was an attack on a group. Don't play that game.

This is a profound aspect of the US psyche -- even more so for many Christians reading Revelation. The Jews have their part to play in what is meant to be, according to this belief. I was just pointing out how the prevalence of this belief among American conservatives has an effect on how Jews fit into our nation's worldview.

And frankly, Americans from the Pilgrims to the Founders lifted memes from the Jews. We're the Shining City on the Hill, singularly exceptional among nations and favored by God. That's all pretty damn Jewish, and you'd still have no shortage of mainline pedes who agree literally with it. And I'm wagering many of them would be the same pedes we see scorching the Jew-haters.

I just have a question: do you believe Jesus will come back before or after we have a thousand years of heaven on earth?
