I used to drive through Nevada on my way to Southern California from Eastern Washington. I love the bleak wide open desert highways

Also retirement community. My husband likes to ride dirt bikes down there in winter to get out of the Utah cold. He loves the community, the Bundy family all live there. It is live free or die country. It is on our short list for retirement

To be fair we just talk things out and make decisions together, but my husband has his spaces and I have mine. Kitchen is mine, garage is his, garden is mine, etc... We are partners, but I still like having a man I look up to.

We just dominate in different realms. My husband is without question smarter, he is a genius, but he leads by being someone people want to follow. His badassness is inside of him. I remember when he took over a scout troop. The prior leader would give candy to any boy who wore his uniform. My husband did not bribe, he just wore his and the boys wanted to be like him so they all followed. I remember another time I was subbing in a Sunday school class. A kid mouthed off to me as my husband was walking by in the hall. This kid outweighed my husband by double, but was visibly afraid of my husband when he grabbed him out of the class and dressed him down away from other people. He just has presence. He has only raised his voice a few times in 32 years, I think some of the presence comes from self control and not being provokable. he is also an extremely nice person.

Yes, I will never look as good as I did 32 years ago when we married. If we were not mentally compatible I doubt we would still be so physically attracted.

Yes, we just don't usually admit it. I had a hard time young because men were afraid of me, I had to find an extremely secure and tough man. He is very soft spoken and quiet, but never, ever a pushover. Also extremely tough and the motorcycles don't hurt. He was never intimidated by me ever

Agree, I like to look at my husband, but more importantly he is attractive independent of looks because of who he is. 32 years and I still find him the most attractive man. Sure I can look at very attractive men and enjoy the view, but they could never compete.

He's not bad, but is he smart enough to keep up? She has to be extremely secure because she dressed her bridesmaids in cute dresses.

Hmm, dubious source, but it is certainly possible. Jimmy Carter did not bring any peace to the world so I could see someone who was into peace seeing that Democrats are not the answer, although neocons are just as bad.

It sounds like libertarianism to me. I vote that way (except Trump) not because it would work, but because it is the right direction.

I see that kind of creativity now that I live in Utah because the families are too big for the kids to be spoiled. Enterprising kids have their own businesses because it is not illegal for young kids to work for themselves. In one family the oldest kids started it and it has passed down to the younger kids, but now they have all left home. They did yard care like you. I wish the kids across the street could work, but their mom is too protective. The kids are great. I wanted help when I was putting in insulation and that was too nasty a job. The parents did dirty jobs to get where they are so I don't really understand the mentality. When we lived in the very affluent West LA a few people gave my kids a hard time for their dirty jobs, but the most successful people I knew, one paid cash for a $5 million house, said they started with dirty jobs and were encouraging. It was the doctor/lawyer status crowd who looked down their noses. The one who bought the expensive house for cash made his money in garbage and another who was encouraging made his money as a pioneer of infomercials. No status there, just very big money LOL. I googled him and he was CEO of a consolidated infomercial conglomerate. There is a huge difference between people who run businesses and high salary professionals
