I am very familiar with the stats, but they often become and excuse. As a tiny female men with short man complexes were always chasing me. I dated some that were very short and it never mattered to me, but I wonder if it is the complexes that set them back. Blacks can be just as successful, but on average are not, same thing. Immigrant blacks dramatically succeed in high numbers compared to American slave descended blacks. This is about culture and I see the same with short men. It does not hurt that my husband is a total badass and very secure. It is the strangest thing, but it is as if other men just know. A number of times I have seen them automatically defer to him. No whiners allowed in my house.
My husband has done very well and is not tall. Sounds like excuses, averages are not individuals. It is like people whining about being black, but look at what Ben Carson accomplished. I think being shorter actually helped my husband because he decided he would have to work harder when he was very young.
We are all over in my family. My FIL was 6 foot and my husband is 5'6" I am tiny, 5 feet, and my kids are taller, but not super tall. My brother is 5'9". I could picture a much taller grandkid showing up some day. One of my grandfathers was about 6 feet.

Hahahaha ok true story. Joshua Tree is out in the desert and we had a house there. Some LA people moved out and the neighbors were just plinking, but they had no idea and called the cops. The cops knew the neighbors and they were left alone. CA still has some deep red areas as this is near 29 Palms Marine Base.
