I could see this being used for political gain but social distancing works. Look at Taiwan, during the sars outbreak they had a pretty hard time. As soon as China anounced this, one they started implementing social distancing and hand washing and checking people who game in on flights and they hardly have any infected.

I agree with you that looks good and all, but what about the other countries in the world. I saw an article today where Italy is basically picking and choosing who to save because the health system is so over loaded. I'm not saying the virus is gonna doom us, I'm just saying that I think we as Americans could be doing more to spread awareness. locally and across the U.S.

So Info wars links back to a daily mail article explaing this is from a doctor with the AHA named Lawler. And that he actually did give a talk at a conference explaing all of this. The AHA has gone on record as stating that this is his opinion, not theirs.
While I don't disagree with the premise that China lies, for God's sake they do it constantly. China really has shut down a good portion of it's industry at that would appear to be the case from those maps we've all seen where China's pollution out put has dropped to almost nothing.
Same here. And you can't talk reason to any one, if you try they assume your saying that precautions shouldn't be taken. I think most reasonable people agree. Don't panic, but play it safe, get a little extra supplies just in case (don't panic buy), wash your hands and stay away from the sick people.
...well yeah, no one is saying that coronavirus' in general are new. It's that this particular one is new to humans. The person I replied to made it sounds as if this particular strain had existed in humans since the 70's.
