I would consider this the pre-red pill version that targets moderates. I asked for some suggestions here earlier, and I tried to put together a list that could appeal to a broader demographic. I welcome any input. I appreciate people sharing this, making their own versions, or just any help in getting people away from the big tech and mainstream media controlled outlets.
I played a lot of basketball growing up and whether I was playing streetball or whether I was playing in an organized league I learned one thing. If they weren't going to call fouls, you had to be physical to. You couldn't just be nice and polite and let the other guy beat you up. You had to be willing to play at least as rough as they were.
This is a fight that's not going to end anytime soon. I'm trying to be more active to. We're dealing with people that will seemingly resort to almost anything to succeed. The only way to counter that is with vigilance.
First off, fantastic name. Also, I'm very happy to see you bring up Liberty Doll specifically. She cooperated with one of the libertarian pages I contributed to (I Think Therefore I am Libertarian, but the guy tried selling the site and kicked me off). We had a good run though, over a million reach a week for a while until Facebook changed things.
Specific people would be kind of the step 2 or 3 of the process, which would be great to have a site or something to kind of curate that sort of thing. Right now I'm focusing on social media sites in particular and making something that can be easily spread around. Here's the list I have right now. I welcome any further input.
I consider myself a libertarian and a a Trump supporter, but I do feel like I have to be careful how I approach some issues with libertarians. I'm still on a fairly large libertarian Facebook page and I do agree with the idea that for the most part they are receptive.
Anyway here's the list I have so far, it's kind of thinking out loud at the moment but I hope to be refining it as I get feedback.
Well unfortunately sometimes libertarians can fall into the trap of being overly ideological. They can get going on about open borders, abortion, and other things that make them lose sight of the big picture.
Anyway, I do think the tiered redpill list makes a lot of sense and in my mind I'm starting to think of a simpler before redpill post and then adding more stuff for the post redpill crowd.
I made a post that kind of goes over where I'm at right now with the list.
I agree in general principle, but I just don't agree with anyone who is saying why bother if Trump isn't president. Doing something becomes even more important then because otherwise we're talking packed senate, packed courts, and just demolishing of everything within their reach.
It reminds me of my mother explaining to me why it was ok for Corrie ten Boom to lie in The Hiding Place. Sometimes you have to do things things that ordinarily would be wrong to prevent great harm from befalling others.
The problem with this is if the senate is controlled by democrats, no matter who is president they will cause problem. And if they manage to put Biden in office, they're going to pack the courts, pack the senate, and do all kinds of bullshit.
The real question is if they are going to get away with all this nonsense, why keep playing by the rules?
This is an interesting and valid point. I'm working on a list of social media type sites to try to promote and I'm not including places like td.win. Why? Because I can't red pill a moderate/libertarian by going hey go over to this place that's obviously extremely pro Trump. They won't take it seriously.
Once you've graduated, you can find your way here and then continue on your journey. However, it's a bit much to expect everyone to be at this stage. I don't owe allegiance to Tim but I recognize him as an ally in the same way I see Sidney Powell as an ally. The only time I really have issue with either side is when they actively get in each other's way. That does annoy me, we have enough problems without infighting.
I can't go into many specifics if I wanted to because I don't think I have the PM anymore. Basically though, Jay Jacobs publicly made it seem like it was Tuberville's choice to leave. It wasn't. Matter of fact I still see hit pieces on him claiming he quit, which simply isn't true. Here's one quote from an article this year for example: "But Tuberville quit. He wasn’t fired. He certainly wasn’t laid off. He had a contract."
This is the media though right? What should we expect. Basically he was called in and told they were going to get rid of him. It was that simple. There were no alternatives. The public stuff was to make it easier on both sides. He was a very successful coach at Auburn, but he committed the cardinal sin of losing to Alabama. So this way he could save face, and Auburn didn't have to face much controversy.
This kind of reminds me of the current climate with things that are common sense and then things that are reported. I think most of us knew at the time that he was on thin ice, and suspected he was asked to leave. The inside source was just verifying what Occam's razor would tell you. The fact that to this day the media runs with the press release version of the story shows you just how inept they are at their job. At this point my version of this is as well sourced as that Atlantic story about Trump saying disparaging remarks about soldiers... a teeny tiny bit of journalism would well exceed that, heh.
Sometimes you get inside stories if you know people who know people. It's just how it works sometimes. To give an example I post on a football forum and I was once given the inside story on the firing of a football coach. They broke down what actually happened, how it differed from the official account, and I knew it was legit because the guy I was getting it from was an insider. It was a one time thing to, he never shared something like that again.
Oh and that football coach just became a senator, heh.
Edit: I had to laugh because I was watching political ads saying the senator quit on his team and I was like nope, that isn't what happened.
It's sad how low our expectations have become with the press. We're pleased she didn't completely try to screw over Trump 100% and instead was just a little biased.
Having said that yes, I think she did try hard to hide her bias and I commend her for that. The other question is if she fed her questions to the Biden campaign early, something she got caught doing to another candidate if I recall correctly...
