One thing I'm reading about the senate races in Georgia is what there's no point in voting because things are rigged. Who is doing the rigging? Why is it always so one sided?

I'm not advocating for doing anything illegal, but look at the playbook of the Democrats. They did everything they could to keep any sort of identification for voters. They did everything they could to avoid checking ballots had proper dates, proper signatures, proper addresses. This sort of thing isn't necessarily illegal, but we all know why they did it. They did it to make doing things illegal more easy.

Why is it that when an election observer gets thrown out it's always a Republican? Why is it that when a rule gets changed it's always in favor of Democrat voters? Why is it that when voters are given instruction on how to vote it's always for Democrats? Why are the ballots that magically show up always seem to be for Democrats?

It's because one side is playing dirty and the other side naively is trying to play by the rules. Well, how's that working out for you? Who says we can't play dirty to though? Why aren't Democratic observers getting thrown out of polling places? Why aren't elderly people that may or may not still be alive voting for Republicans?

There are areas completely controlled by Republicans and they damn sure aren't finding 100,000 Trump ballots now are they? Why not? Seriously why is the solution to just throw up our hands and go oh well we tried but we can't beat them because they cheat?

I can go on but this reminds me of the Proud Boys. I keep hearing just be polite, be peaceful, be nice, the media wants to make us look bad. Meanwhile they are sucker punching us in the streets! We can win! We have the numbers, but this apathetic country club mentality has to stop.

When do we stop caring about appearances and start caring about winning?

It is extremely important that we work to educate people on alternatives to many sites that have become compromised. This doesn't necessarily mean a max exodus from all platforms, but people really need to know where to go. I've seen some recommendations, I saw an image with a partial list, but I'd really love to see some higher profile stuff that really provides good information. It might exist, but I haven't seen it widely promoted. This isn't just about going to Parler, we've seen Twitter, Facebook, Drudge Report, and even Fox News become compromised. Directing people towards where they can get uncensored and untainted information is important.

This isn't just about compiling an easy to access list, the additional step would be small guides on how to use the respective websites. For instance my wife joined Parler and complained there wasn't much to do. If you're kind of a novice, knowing who to follow and how to get going is daunting. The same can be said for WeMe which I have to confess I'm not really sure what the heck to do there myself. It would be great if someone (assuming it doesn't already exist) made a website with short guides for each site or something.

Anyway here's what I came up with off the top of my head and I welcome any input. I didn't add sites like 4chan because that takes a certain type of person to be able to navigate. I certainly wouldn't want to send grandmoms there or something.

Parler - Twitter Alternative

Donald.Win - Reddit Alternative (There is a Win network)

OAN / Newsmax - News Alternatives (Pluto carries Newsmax and also carried America's Voice which has Bannon's War Room).

Gab and MeWe - Facebook Alternatives

Rumble and Bitchute - YouTube Alternatives

Citizen Free Press - Aggregator (Drudge Report Alternative)

One thing that the left and the media are trying to do here is to marginalize people. Push us into a corner, make us all run to Parler, and hide out here while they try to convince everyone else there's nothing to see. Mind you we should use Parler and this site but we need strong voices on our behalf.

I noticed Ron Paul is speaking up on the issue. No, he's not going to become a die hard Trump supporter, and be the guy fighting on the front lines for us. However, he leads an important ideological group who are valuable allies.

Let me quote his most recent Liberty Report:

"It looks like to me that there might have been even a conspiracy and a plan to do this" - Ron Paul November 10th, 2020

This isn't some hedge your bets, Republican establishment saying. He's saying he thinks something fishy is going on and it's very important to remember it's not just us hiding out here that see what's going on.

This was a Facebook post, but I thought I'd put it somewhere it wouldn't be repressed. Remember when people tell you the free market will sort out social media sites, that China does not have a free market. Their influence and the influence of entities like China corrupts the free market.

"I implore everyone to make sure you are not overly reliant on any particular social media site. Since the 2018 mid-term social media purges we have seen nothing but increased censorship and suppression on the major social media sites. This includes coordinated activities between social media sites to deplatform people. Over time we've seen an expansion of broader tactics to hinder people seen as right of center (that includes libertarians) such as going after their hosting, funding, etc...

People have been caught flatfooted as their suppression or deplatforming leaves them without access at crucial times. The morning of the election people woke up to find that their followers couldn't see their posts, people on YouTube had their streams taken down, and so on. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be in such a position that we can be silenced easily.

To give personal examples, leading up to the mid-terms and this election I was denied access to post on Facebook pages. Both times it was to "verify" my identity. I posted a graph from a major non-partisan website that was completely accurate. Facebook fact checked it. My wife has a co-worker who is in the state legislator. He was completely cut off from his Facebook audience and he was unaware of it until people started telling him they couldn't see his posts. This isn't some far right lunatic, this is a elected official who was doing things like helping people in the hurricane aftermath. To reiterate, Facebook prevented people whose lives got destroyed in a hurricane from being able to get vital information from their elected official!

My suggestion is that everyone make their contingency plans immediately. If you like a website, a page, a person on social media, make sure you have redundancies. Bookmark pages, create accounts on services that are less prone to censorship, make sure that you are not also missing out on vital information because the social media gods decided to silence someone. Perhaps you take the extra step of making your own site, creating your own hosting, or becoming involved in supporting or creating an alternative.

I do believe the free market will sort things out eventually with social media. How long might that take though? We can speed that process up by making sure to use alternatives. However, there are forces at work that are not necessarily free market forces. Notice what happened to the Drudge Report? Someone who made his name on a sex scandal the media wouldn't report avoided the Biden laptop story. Sex, crack, and political corruption wasn't salacious enough. Do we know what happened there? No, but it wasn't necessarily intervention by free market forces. In fact reports are Drudge has lost something like 40% of his traffic.

This isn't just people like Bloomberg spending over a billion dollars to try to have a say in who is president either. We can assume Bloomberg came by his money legitimately. However, did China and the Chinese companies working in concert with them? Certainly not. When Reddit does something to censor someone, that isn't the free market at work! Reddit has taken on Chinese investors. They are being influenced and funded by directly by forces that are not free market! We must not gloss this over! To go further with this, China has spread their influence far and wide, going so far as to basically silence the entire NBA after a single Tweet expressing support for Hong Kong.

What is the relevance to social media in general? China is an example of one force at work here that's not from the free market, but they are not the only one. Is the deep state part of the free market? No, so when they take action against someone, for instance launching an investigation that's not the free market. Aaron Swartz, a co-founder of Reddit was charged with federal crimes and committed suicide. He was over zealously pursued in the middle of the Obama administration and faced decades in jail for downloading academic articles.

Money coming from China is essentially poisoned, so anything it touches is corrupted. The NBA demonstrated that principle. This isn't just about the tech gods deciding what we can discuss on their platforms. It's also not just direct injections of money from China that poison the free market, it's the actions of people in business with them. Is there any surprise that the social media companies actions have become more and more similar to China's social credit score system?

We must not stand idly by as our voices are silenced. We must not naively assume the forces at work are in fact free market forces. We need to be proactive. This includes being increasingly vocal. Do not let your silence be interpreted as apathy."
