Same thing happened to me in July. I dropped a 5 gallon paint bucket on my foot and broke 2 meta tarsals and 3 toes. Suspected Covid-19 was on the bill. I requested my insurance to not pay the bill, and I submitted it to an attorney for fraud. They never administered any blood test or any other test except a left foot X-ray. I’m working on the getting the bill cleared due to fraudulent charges with my sworn statement as well as my wife’s who I made sure was in the room with me for just this reason.
