Regardless of what happens, I see trump stepping down. Whether it is temporary or permanent is the kicker. I agree that if he assumes the role without relinquishing it first, he will be viewed as a dictator. Handing the country over to the CCP-owned candidate would be inherently treasonous, so the only group that could hold the Infinity Gauntlet would be the US Military. Trump giving his farewell address at Andrews AFB is tactically a good move since he can be taken to a secure location until this whole process is complete. One other side note is that the threats to the state capitols may have been planted/exaggerated to cause all governors (dem ot rep) to willfully deploy the guard who will then be able to hold the territory quickly. This also acts as a CYA in case foreign enemies try to slip us a mickey while we are taking care of business and cleaning house so we aren’t caught heels up.
