Agreed.
Imagine telling a welder who went to a local Community College and then did a few years as an apprentice, that his tax dollars were being used to pay off the student debt of a fucking Starbucks barista who majored in Victim Studies.
Progressives will soon realize that the class warfare they have created will be their demise.
Yes, and with humor, Fren.
The left has no defense against it.
We laugh our asses off about the Canadian trany suing businesses offering bikini waxes because they won't wax "her" nut-sack.
Posit that craziness to a lefty and wait for a reply.
It actually can be fun.
When the recession hit in 2008, I was laid off from a very good job.
All my friends and neighbors know that I never took a dime in government assistance. I worked my ass off in two retail sales jobs making less than half of what I made in corporate sales.
I'd pick up my son from high school to drive him home to his mother's house (my ex), and he asked one day if we could stop at Sub-Way.
I laid into him yugely, that I was still covering the expense of two households and that my meal of the day was a bologna sandwich and a bottle of tap water.
He hated me then for not having a full wallet, but now he tells me it's one of the best learning experiences of his life.
Moral of the story? No one can ever lecture me about "white privilege".
We do what we do for ourselves and our families.
If non-white fathers want to abandon their responsibilities to their families? Not my problem. Zero guilt.
You will never make me own that.
Rant off.
And that is the only logical result of this madness.
In the battle for victim-hood, there are no winners.
Eventually, after the social justice warriors fight each other to the bottom, meritocracy will rise from the ashes of despair.
Individuality is what made this country great. Not diversity.
I agree with you 100%.
I despise the very concept of white supremacy, but I'm old enough to remember when the ACLU went to court to fight for the KKK to hold a rally. That would never happen today.
I've also seen over the years people burning the American flag. Every time I see it I get extremely pissed off, but I would never support any law forbidding it.
We spend far too much time debating the issues themselves instead of thanking God and our Constitution for our right to have those debates freely.
I don't. I watch clips on line and read articles, but I don't watch mainstream media.
I used to watch Morning Joe while making breakfast after walking the dog, but that was more for the comedy. I haven't even done that in months.
The ability to focus on policy and ideas without being told how to think about them, is very empowering.
It's much better than arguing about which messenger deserves death for bringing you the wrong message.
Nothing visceral about it.
I haven't watched Fox in many months, but I will say in their defense - they were never as committed to Trump as the MSM was to Democrats.
I appreciate both sides of a story and multiple views on important topics. I'd be a hypocrite to slam MSNBC and CNN for their bias and then slam Fox News for not doing the same.
Call me a "globo-homo"? Zero fucks given.
I'm a thinking man, and often think outside the box.
You should try it. Individual thought can sometimes be difficult, but with time and effort it can be very rewarding.
Or don't.
I turned my 20-something son onto three people years ago. Jordan Peterson, Mike Rowe, and Ben Shapiro.
Shapiro catches a ton of crap around here, but the three of them made a huge impact on his attitude.
After watching them, Trump was a no-brainer.
As free thinking people, we can make our own decisions on who we associate with.
Our families and local communities can have a huge impact on that.
When the Federal Government writes laws that enshrine racism?
That's when we are "slaves" to divisiveness.
