To be fair, prostitutes often appear on the cover of magazines with reputations about on par with Time.
Fort Naqueesha has always been named that, only a racist would deadname it by calling it something like Fort Bragg.
The ring was directly posited by Plato, specifically. He proposed a situation where a magical ring could turn someone invisible, and how even with that minor power, inevitably, it would lead to depravity and corruption of the holder, and greed and powerlust from others to take it.
Given Tolkein's education, there's no chance he did not read Plato's allegory of the one ring. He chose something very specific to reference, and while that reference predated Christianity, it definitely related to depravity and degradation of the Self and Soul.
I've got one speed: Go.
"most" don't even know they have it. The asymptomatic rate is insanely high. A disease so deadly, that half of the population won't even realize they had even a cold or seasonal allergies.
They don't need a chip to control your mind, just to further refine their works.
Well, we certainly have stigmas, and the CHInese have Xi. Illuminati confirmed.
A few years doesn't matter, but I'd still like Methusela's lifespan.
Because THEY do. Don't be mixing up cause and effect.
Swasticas didn't just appear from an aether around neo-nazi groups, people going "oh shit, look, a swastica, I guess I'm a neo-nazi now". No, they looked at what they were doing, and went "what symbol represents my ideas and beliefs?". Then they, the human, after looking it over chose that symbol.
Same here. Much like any other psychopath, a common trait is believing others are infinitely beneath them. "I could literally tattoo '666' on my face and walk into a church, advocate for Lucifer, and those sheep wouldn't notice" kind of thoughts wouldn't be unlikely with a psychopath. Cosmic forces aren't causing repeated sixes, people who know the significance and look down on you are.
IANAL, but I do watch them on youtube quite a bit (Viva Frei does a great job on breaking down these types of cases)
This basically says these six are going in on things with Texas. Prior to this, the declaration was mostly a declaration of support. A "if you need witnesses, we're here for you, advanced warning to the courts that we might help Texas behind the scenes" type of thing. Now instead they're joining in as plaintiffs, or rather they've filed paperwork to try to join in as them. Which means they lawyer up too, stand in court, get put at risk of sanctions if it was viewed as a frivolous suit, get to yell "objection" at people, etc.
In short, these six are putting their money where their mouth is.They're saying "wait, wait, wait courts! This court filing isn't right! ...Because we're not suing them too!"
Can't hurt; might help.
If you're fighting a dragon, you don't go "that plan sucks, it won't kill the dragon, only rip off its wings and significantly weaken it letting us win later in the fight. No good. It's win immediately, or do nothing at all."
That's only gonna be what happens if google is busted on its safe harbors. Otherwise, "those who control the past, control the future. Those who control the present, control the past." will be very true, lefties and righties alike will only be allowed to see the "truth" divorced from fact that google wishes them to see.
Then pardoning him makes little difference on his end, and still creates optics on the other.
I don't see how him being glowier than fedposters should mean he shouldn't be pardoned. Just because you can't take a piece with your knight on a chess board, doesn't mean you should never move your knight. Moves can be made that don't immediately benefit you and yours, in order to set the stage.
They'd make Argentina pay for it, but it doesn't have the money for some reason.
This post applies for basically everyone in the western world.
Kweebecker here, which is a lot like Canada, but has actual laws in place to preserve our culture. If Quebec separates, you'll have to learn French, but you Canada 'pedes are welcome to the Trudeau-free zone.

Encouraging death is a tragic thing.
If we can save even just one life with simple, common-sense measures, then we should. Like muzzling this woman. If someone's grandmother died because of her words, it would be tragic. She clearly needs to be silenced, for the public good. Nothing should stop or hinder the anti-lockdown protests, because at its core, it can save lives, and if it means saving even one life, what does it matter the cost?
Autistic people tend to question things because they need to know how they work in order to contextualize them and apply them in their mind. Get a full grasp of something, because a partial image will have a higher chance of being a wrong image. When points are off but close, and the whole picture is there, the idea still gets across. Picasso's portraits are still clearly people, even if the shape, color, and even location of things are off, and likewise, with a communication-related disability, if you can get a full picture, you'll present a clear picture of your aimed subject even if you have trouble putting it all on paper.
Honestly, it's something we should encourage in more kids. Kids ask "why". And the answer should always be "let's find out together." Reward asking why, questioning even the basic facts, and it will be much harder for someone to pull the wool over their eyes.
Because "why?", one word, asked repeatedly down a chain, destroys 95% of subversion and ideological dogma.
Why do I support Trump? I can answer: He objectively brings a lot of peace to the world via a half-dozen multi-country peace treaties. Why do I like that? Because I support humanity as a whole concept. Why does he bring peace? Maybe he likes it, maybe it is just because it is good for his business, but either way, the action, not the motivation, is what matters on things of this scale to me. Why do I ignore his mannerisms? I don't. But they're insignificant compared to the concept of "world peace", which he has brought closer than any other president in recent history. Why is he in that lead? Because most presidents are in businesses that profit off war, or have friends that are. But tourism and real estate prefer peace.
I can answer "why" all day long. And if I hit a point where I don't know, I'll have some introspection and investigation, we can find out together. But as soon as dogma is involved, subversive elements, the "why" chain breaks down. "because I was told to, and now I'm telling you to, too" will be the eventual answer.
"Why did you vote Biden?" "He opposed Trump." "Why do you oppose Trump?" "Orange man bad." "Why orange man bad?" "TV man said so. And you are bad too if you disagree with TV man."
I believe there is a moral responsibility to give noise and bad data to as many crawlers as possible. I said as much when I went to Springfield the other day with Charlie, I said "say you go to random places with random people, just to cause them problems." And Zack, the guy I went with, replied "Oh yeah, I even run a GPS spoof on my phone. For app development testing purposes, of course." Classic Joseph, always one-upping me, even when we go out to London he's still good ol' Johnny.
I remember there was one about fact-checking Trump saying the giant pile of fast-food burgers he bought was "a mile high", and going "ACKSHULLY even if you piled them perfectly, which can't be done, it would only be a half a mile at most!"
It's more of a Lying Ship Of Theseus.
If you change a lie ever so slightly, but it's basically the same lie, it's the same lie. If you then change a bit else of the lie, well, it's the same lie, right? If you continue to lie and change your story, when has it become a new lie?
Cures would make a fortune. Cancers are caused by everything from sunlight to bacon to lack of sunlight to lack of bacon. Curing people over and over, because they'll get it again, would be immense profit.
Preventatives, maybe. But if there was some gene therapy clinic that could do one surgery and poof, your cells will never cancer-divide again, it would make scads of cash, it would just be suppressed by those selling both treatments and cures, but the profit motive would be there.
