I too have student loans and after the first few months of bitching I grew up and started paying them. Why? For one I got a few degrees, neither one journalism, that were in the field I have made a career in. Would it have been easier at the time had Bernie won and scrubbed my student loan debt?-yes, for me, but why the fuck is it anyone else’s responsibility to pay for my shit? A: it’s not. Remember this if you want to go to school and waste $100,000 in loan debt for a gender studies or journalism degree that has no practical use in the real world
