Am I crazy or did the gun fly out of her hand when she fired it too? Talk about unqualified, jesus.

I liked the idea of identifying the mod who stickies each post.

She does have name recognition, that's her problem.

Or Texas governor can just decide to pick Republican Senators and presidential electors himself without having an election and it doesn't affect other states at all so they can't complain.

You make a compelling argument but did you notice that you spelled a word wrong? Checkmate trumpkin.

Same in Ireland, all the reporting on the US is just copied from CNN/MSNBC/AP, no journalism whatsoever, just parroting the same talking points.

So you're saying that it could take the individual totals against the overall total to get a percentage, then use that percentage to get less precise individual counts instead of just keeping the counts it already has? That doesn't make sense either. It HAS to have the exact individual totals, no reason to convert them to floating point numbers.

The solution is to repeal section 230. Let them do whatever they want with their sites but let them be held liable for it.

Section 230 gives social media companies protection from lawsuits based on what people post to their sites. They call themselves a platform rather than a publisher, so they can't be held liable. However, they censor and editorialise willy nilly so that protection should be taken away.

If you're going to silence some people, then we should take it that anything not censored is approved by them. Right now they get the best of both worlds, they choose what goes on their site and can't be held liable for any of it.

Every day I thank Steve Huffman for encouraging us to spread our wings and form our own site, bigger and better than reddit ever was. Thanks Steve!

All great advice. It's hard to follow sometimes but getting into a routine is the hard part, keeping it up is a little easier.

You sound like a top mom!

finally going to a 4 year university for the first time in January

That's great dude. I was in a rut in life myself and feeling down on myself. Went back to college to change career direction into something I was more interested in and it was the best decision I ever made. I don't even regret the shit that came before now because it put me on track to a better life with better people around me.

If things didn't get so bad that I decided to take action then I'd probably still be in a job I don't like. It was one step backward for three steps forward. I hope it works out for you too, and even if it doesn't, you're still in control of your own destiny, just keep searching for whatever makes you content.

Yup, no need to fight on multiple fronts at once. Stick to the biggest priority now and gut Fox's ratings later.

And DO gut Fox's ratings later, no matter what happens.

Twitter needs to be charged with election interference. There is no other way to describe what they're doing.

Irish so not a US voter. Reddit got me following the 2016 election through all the SandersForPresident posts that used to hit all. Never liked Hillary by virtue of being a fan of Christopher Hitchens and I was there when r/politics flipped overnight from a Sanders sub to a Hillary sub. I honestly liked Sanders unfortunately, moreso for the excitement around him and how organic his support was compared to the wicked witch. The way he caved to the DNC cost him some of my respect and I'm a bit more educated on economic matters now so wouldn't touch him.

Didn't closely follow Trump for a while. I fell for the "all Republicans are bad" conditioning I was exposed to through various media so the most I did was looked at some clips from the Republican primaries and stuff. I remember seeing a video on YT that was analysing how Trump speaks and saying why it means he's a psycho or some BS. I forget what the exact context was but my first redpill moment was when I saw Trump speaking for myself and it was so disconnected from what I had heard. He came across so reasonable compared to what I had been told. He has his quirks but just nothing like he was described.

I started following T_D after politics was compromised and found it to be pretty fun and it was so easy to hate Hillary. I stayed up all night here following the election and my honest thought at the time was that I would probably refrain from voting for either party if I was voting. I was kind of up for Trump but not sure if it was to the point where I would have actually voted for him.

Afterwards, the Democrat reaction to his win and muh resistance and all that pretty much immediately converted me to a hardcore Trump supporter. Everything they've done since has only solidified my support. If I was a US voter I would walk through fire and over broken glass to vote for him now.
