I know people have ooed and awed over Kayleigh, but I do think Sara did a better job. Here's why: -she has more experience -kayleigh having a binder that quotes the media word for word didn't have the impact you would hope (truth is, media doesn't care what they did or said and she never adapted to that when it wasn't having a real impact) -she had more poise (I think Kayleigh's responses are funny but I do have to agree optics are important and Sara do an overall better job) -sara commanded more respect from the opposition (not a lot b/c she was part of the Trump team, but still they were more willing to hear her out)
This is just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, plenty of respect for Kayleigh, but I personally think Sara was a lot more kick a$$.
I think that's completely legit, women and men are different (though I don't think anyone should be subservient to others). It's not to say that women can't develop good leadership characteristics (like conscientiousness, confidence, etc), but they are not as predisposed to it. I really enjoy listening to some of Jordan Petersons talks because he touches on this a lot. I think the anti-malw rhetoric is destroying our culture in a lot of ways and, call me a conspiracy theorist, but I do feel such rhetoric (and the push for different genders) is probably part of communist ploy to weaken our culture, specifically our men.
I also believe emotions are important (a bad blanket statement on my part); I myself am frankly a very emotional woman sometimes, but I have learned how to properly harness it. I really love this video where this man helps a little boy understand how to harness his emotions, to deal with them in a healthy way, this is what I was really getting at: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zpZFCubE6Ag
My husband never saw this film so we watched it last Sunday (before the 6th). He was disturbed by all the parallels. He's redpilled his mom pretty hard and yesterday told her to watch it. She had the same reaction.
This and 1984 - all eerie parallels.
I've been on both sides and based on my own personal experience, liberals tend to manipulate people a lot more than right-leaning people. Right-leanig people tend to be more blunt and open about where they truly stand which is what makes it difficult to unite everyone. It's both good and bad because someone like Trump was able to unite so many different individuals and ideas under one banner (MAGA), but I fear without someone like Trump to continue it, it might sputter out. At the same time, it is incredible that generally speaking there's less division when push comes to shove, whereas on the left, when the going gets tough, they eat their own.
One final thought: we need to continue to support less emotional responses (especially when it comes to religion) and continue to create productive discourse that generates effective actions (i.e. continue to challenge ideas in a healthy, mature way) that protects all freedoms here in the US.
And how about Japanese in WWII? Do we really need to replicate that BS? Not every Japanese person (in fact very few) in the US has anything to do with the war and simply wanted to peacefully and freely live their lives. We shouldn't descriminate against people simply because of their background, but rather the content of their character and actions.
I think it's legit to be a realist but we need to stop calling everyone names when we are upset others don't think like us, otherwise we're no better than the left. Furthermore, we have to keep in mind that things could be happening in the background that we won't know about until it's appropriate to come out in public. Sometimes transparency isn't the best course of action.
I still maintain though that we should always be vigilant and realistic, that we have certain freedoms for a reason and to watch closely in case things fall to pieces to act on those freedoms if ever necessary.
In short, calm down and come together with your fellow pedes.
Here, here. I give credit where credits due, but also know a lot of it is to play the game. Same goes for Noem and some of the other govs saying they'll dismiss mask mandates, I mean c'mon, that's not any news, that's not someone who is super based. I appreciate they are at least sending some sort of message, but they have to think and DO bigger for America.
The irony is if you watch Jimmy Dore's video about the Capitol being stormed, he tries to claim it's white privilege. I don't expect much from him, watch his stuff to get another viewpoint so as not to be in an echo chamber, but still...come on, man.
Sort of...he condemned the protestors at the Capitol, saying they were violent. There are bashed in windows and people were led in, maybe a few cops got shoved (boo hoo). Even so, patriots calmly walked the halls. The only violence to be condemned is the shooting of Ashli...
And frankly, be careful about politians playing a game, tying to look like they are on your side by saying they protest the certification last minute...well they had 2 months to come out and support Americans. I'm not convinced.
Is anyone working on a memorial? I'm not part of any organization and am not on any social media so hard for me to spread the word, but interested in helping anyway I can, even if it's just making a tee shirt with her name...
