Sorry fellow 'pedes but I actually like ol' Mr. Graham. He's not with us on all topics all the time - and that's okay. His heart is in the right place and he's been a strong ally of the president in many areas. He also put all his chips on the line for Kavanaugh and helped save his confirmation. That puts him well up in my book.
The guiding principle of these universities is money, securing donations. I don't think they were intentionally abetting him in finding or grooming students, but they were definitely willing to look the other way to appease a big donor.
